Control your portions
Controlling your portions is key to staying true to your diet. Without feeling deprived, you can have any food when pre-determining the amount of your intake. Little tricks can help you in the accomplishment, e.g. use smaller plates so that the portion looks bigger and yes, you are able to fool your brain. What a relief that is, you never have to say no! Drink a glass of water before eating so you'll feel full with a more humble portion of food.
Replacing one quarter of your food with vegetables will help you decrease the amount of calories and/or protein you eat. Also, you'll have more fiber intake to ease your digestion.
