Nauli Kriya and Qi Flow (Energy Flow)

Qi (or Chi) is the concept of vital life energy in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Tai Chi.

Much like prana in yoga, Qi flows through the body's energy channels (meridians), sustaining health and vitality.

Nauli Kriya can enhance energy flow by stimulating the dantian (energy center in the lower abdomen, similar to the yoga's manipura chakra).

The abdominal massage stimulates internal organs and muscles, clearing blocks and encouraging
Qi to circulate more freely.

Nauli Kriya can be seen as a yogic practice that supports the smooth and balanced flow of qi/ prana, leading to improved vitality and health.

Flying Savasana (with bolster & blocks)
Bolster under the spine → gently opens the chest
Block under the head → keeps neck neutral, prevents chin lift
Blocks under both calves → releases low back & pelvic tensiontension

Postural benefits:
Rounded shoulders:
Chest opens naturally, shoulders soften back and down without forcing. Supports heart & lung space (TCM: Lung + Heart Qi flow).
Unstable pelvis:
Calf support allows the pelvis to drop and feel held. Reduces gripping in hip flexors and lower back, creating pelvic stability through relaxation.

Nervous system settles, body feels supported and light—like “flying,” not collapsing.

TCM view – why this pose is supportive:
Opens the hip area → helps Liver Qi move smoothly (release tension, stored emotions)
Bolster under sit bones → gently nourishes Kidney energy and supports the lower back
Pelvis elevated → encourages Qi and Blood flow through the lower abdomen & womb/dantian
Arms open on the floor → allows Lung Qi to expand, supporting deeper, calmer breathing
Feet pointing forward → grounding, connects to the Spleen channel and sense of stability

A soft, yin-like pose that invites circulation, grounding, and emotional ease—without force.

Wall Tadasana – fun posture school 😄🧱

The wall is your honest teacher.
It shows you where you lean, grip, or collapse.

Heels grounded → balance feels easy
Back & head meet the wall → spine stacks up
Shoulders soften → neck says thanks

Good posture still needs effort —
but smart effort ✨

Alignment + body intelligence, not stiffness.
Use awareness, not force.

Stand tall, feel light, breathe better 🌻
