Every one day before the Purnama, a full moon, we gather by the fire blessing ritual. Agni Hotra is an ancient ceremony, a powerful spiritual healing. Guided by the enchanting mantras and sacred “Bajra” ringing bell by the priest, is to cleanse our inner and outer environment, release all negative energy and set the powerful intention.

This year at Fivelements Retreat Bali unfolded like a quiet story of growth, connection and deep gratitude.

We welcomed guests from around the world into our sanctuary, each bringing their own intentions, hopes and healing journeys. We strengthened our bond as a team and as a community, learning, supporting and evolving together. We honoured the land by planting hundreds of trees through our year-round reforestation efforts, staying true to our commitment to nurture the environment that sustains us. And we celebrated sacred Balinese ceremonies that remind us of the wisdom, rhythm and beauty held within this island’s traditions.

As the year settles, we carry forward the small moments that shaped us, the shared conversations, the breakthroughs in healing, the quiet mornings by the river and the steady vision guiding our path ahead.

As 2025 comes to a close, we reflect with deep gratitude on a year of meaningful recognition.

This year alone, Fivelements Retreat Bali received seven new international awards, including being named among the Top 10 Spa Destinations in the World by Condé Nast Traveller UK, and honoured as the Best Luxury Wellness Retreat in Indonesia by LUXlife Magazine.

We are especially proud to close the year with three global titles from the Lux Global Awards - Best Yoga and Wellness Retreat in Asia, Best Luxury Healing Retreat in Asia, and Best Luxury Wellness Retreat Globally - adding to a legacy of over 90 awards since our opening.

We have welcomed a new colony of stingless bees to Fivelements Retreat Bali, gentle pollinators whose honey is prized for its healing benefits and sustainable purity. While it will take a few months before they begin producing honey, their presence already adds new life to our regenerative gardens and wellness journey.
