What does location freedom really feel like? Not the aesthetic. Not the highlight reel. The real, quiet, in-between moments.
In this video, I talk about the emotional shift that happens when you build a life of freedom and actually start living it. Today was random. I went to a dentist appointment in Vietnam — something I never planned, never imagined years ago when I was living a completely different life. After that, I took myself to dinner. Solo. Peaceful. Present. Grateful.
This is what slow travel, digital nomad life, and intentional living actually look like. It’s not always glamorous. Sometimes it’s just handling real-life responsibilities — like dental appointments — in a foreign country and realizing, “Wow… this is my life now.”
I share honestly about teetering between feeling blessed and worthy of this life of location independence… and those old thoughts creeping in asking, “Should I be doing more?” If you’ve ever left the traditional path, stepped away from the rat race, or created a lifestyle by design, you know that inner dialogue is real.
