Initiatives of Change Indonesia Network of People that Works for Reconciliation and Peace; Indonesian Chapter

Initiatives of Change (IofC) adalah sebuah jaringan masyarakat internasional yang berkomitmen membangun kepercayaan di seluruh penjuru dunia. Organisasi ini terdiri dari para individu yang berasal dari budaya, bangsa, keyakinan, dan latar belakang yang berbeda-beda yang bertujuan untuk melakukan perubahan dalam masyarakat melalui perubahan dalam individu dan bentuk hubungan, dengan dimulai dari hidup mereka sendiri. Initiatives of Change Indonesia berdiri pada tahun 2002, keberadaan komunitas ini berawal dari inisiatif delegasi pemuda Indonesia di Konferensi Pemuda se-Asia Pasifik X di Malaysia pada tahun yang sama, aktifitas IofC Indonesia bermula dari mengadakan lingkar studi kepemimpinan dalam skala kecil hingga kegiatan pemuda yang berskala internasional seperti : International Leadership Youth Camp 2005, Konferensi Pemuda se-Asia Pasifik XII 2006, hingga International Youth Forum 2008, engan tema The Role of Youth: Action on Millennium Development Goals toward a Peaceful World.

Applications are now open for the upcoming edition of the Caux Scholars Program, taking place in Bandung, Indonesia 🇮🇩 from May 24 to June 15, 2026.

This residential program brings together emerging leaders from across the world to engage in deep learning around peacebuilding, ethical leadership, conflict transformation, and narrative change.

With only 18 participants selected worldwide, we encourage interested applicants to apply early.

The impact of Trustbuilding Program (TBP) by Initiatives of Change Indonesia with great support and mentoring from Initiatives of Change International

Some testimonials from the participants

Joining TBP marked a turning point. Cayes discovered that beneath her calm exterior lay deep-seated wounds. Through TBP’s activities, she began a journey of self-discovery and healing. The inner listening sessions were particularly impactful. For the first time, Cayes confronted her pain and acknowledged its existence.

Cayes also grew more open to interfaith dialogue, participating actively in discussions and events. This openness enriched her faith, allowing it to flourish.

For Bunga, TBP is not only a community but a warm new family, people from different religious backgrounds gathered and taught her the meaning of true friendship. They are not just friends sharing knowledge, but also a space where Bunga can feel fully accepted without hiding herself. Bunga is now a more confident and mature person. She hopes that there will be many more people who
