I’m not a fan of big resolutions when it comes to start a new year. Sure, it can feel amazing to say « this year I’m gonna be happy » or « this year I’m gonna be so healthy and run 5k each morning ». Keep in mind that a big resolution without realistic baby steps towards it is rarely achievable. Anyways what is a resolution without the journey towards it.. nothing.

So take time think about it, speak about it or write about it. What makes YOU really happy? How can I achieve it step by step, achievement by achievement?

You want to journal, start writing down 1 thought a day.

You want to be more present, progressively (it’s all about PROGRESS here) cut off your screen time before bed and when you wake up.

You want to feel more energize, wake up 20 min earlier and plan to move your body, yoga or even explore breathwork.

Begin your day and consciously focus on the things you can realistically do to make this your reality and specially make your baby steps become a part of your natural routine.

This way, you start 2022 empowered!

Little bite of North of Bali with the cold air and big trees to give me a glimpse of being at home.

Christmas this year is not what I expected. I have to say, I’m truly missing my family and my dear friends. Being so far from home during uncertain time like this can be hard.

If you are away or don’t have the chance to be with your loved ones, take time to tell them how much you love them, how special they are to you; allowed them time; and perhaps show kindness and forgiveness.

🚨2021 REVIEW 🚨

Individually and collectively we went through ups and downs, some insecurities; perhaps visiting the edges of pure happiness and sadness; of pure accomplishment or frustration.

How to wrapped up this year? How to close the loop and jump into 2021?

What matters the most for me when I look back at 2021 is beyond looking at a check list of goals that I conceptually set for myself as an achievement.

What matters the most is what you answer to this question:

𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗜 𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗺𝘆 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁? 𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗜 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝘆 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀?

I agree, goals are important but without a journey towards them there is no goal possible; nothing to achieve. Your life is not a perfect filtered instagram feed, sh*t happens!
Life brings you to places you never expected, things take more or less time than expected. You encounter challenges but guess what.. after them comes a lesson and from there so much personal growth.

So when you take that look back on 2021, be gentle with yourself. Keep your head high and be confident because the fact that you tried your best is a proof that you are so strong!

Nobody is gonna give it to you; nobody can fulfilled your self confidence; sure some externals factors like someone boosting your confidence can help you along the way. What happens when someone tries to bring you down or dislike your values? You then redefined yourself based on external satisfaction and this circle goes on and on.

Deep down self confidence is a personal journey 🍯

This journey starts when you see, feel, understand and truly believe your value as an individual. What does it mean?

It means that you start acknowledging and respecting your boundaries; the choices you make and their impacts.

When you see yourself has valuable you start truly believing in who you are. Nobody needs to filled your ☕️ cup for you; they are simply the delicious foam on the top!

Going against the tide is not always the right thing to do.

Miracle often happens when you immerse yourself in the unknown; when you let you guards down and decide to flow with live not fight against it.

Have plans and goals and make everything you can to achieve them. If there is situation on your path you can’t change; let it go and flow with it; enjoy the crazy ride with excitement and curiosity. After all, there is no achievement without the journey that leads to it.
