As part of the New Year’s Eve 2026 celebrations, InJourney Hospitality held a Moment of Silence & Joint Prayer under the theme “Light for Indonesia,” conducted simultaneously across all hotels within its managed network. This initiative represents a spirit of national solidarity, an opportunity to pause, offer prayers, and express empathy for the natural disasters affecting the Sumatra region.

The solemn atmosphere was further enriched through interfaith prayers accompanied by the songs “Ibu Pertiwi” and “Indonesia Pusaka,” symbolizing unity, brotherhood, and a shared sense of nationalism at the turn of the year. This commitment to compassion was also reflected through donation initiatives and the allocation of a portion of the New Year’s Eve 2026 celebration proceeds to support disaster victims in Sumatra.

Let us move forward together, strengthen hope, and rebuild the future as one.

As part of The Sanur’s celebration of Indonesia’s rich cultural heritage, we highlight today another striking statue that pays tribute to our musical traditions. This sculpture features a musician playing the suling, a traditional bamboo flute that is central to Balinese and Javanese gamelan music. Known for its soft, melodic tones, the suling weaves harmoniously with the deep resonance of gongs and metallophones, adding depth and emotion to Indonesia’s traditional soundscape.
