If you only remember one thing from me - go for the EYEBALLS and LOWBALLS.
Everyone thinks a kick to the nuts is the ultimate self-defence move… but here’s the truth:
It’s a small area, easy to miss, and even easier to block - especially under stress and pressure.
And if you miss?
You’ve just given your attacker a warning.
In real life, adrenaline is high, timing is off, and attackers don’t stand still waiting for a perfect shot.
Smart self-defence isn’t about one risky move,
it’s about high-percentage targets, control, and creating space to escape.
👊 Think:
HER targets
Hitting the groin
Eyes
Respiratory (throat).
Your job is to stun and run. Anyway you can.
If you have the chance to kick or knee the groin think up and in. A groin kick up and in is brutal for a reason; it drives your hips and full leg power straight into one of the body’s most sensitive targets, causing intense, overwhelming pain instantly. That upward force doesn’t just hurt, the pain signals surge through the pudendal nerve and nearby pathways, often causing an immediate, overwhelming pain response.
That sudden pain can lead to a whole-body reaction; people may double over, feel nauseous, or even experience a brief vasovagal response, a drop in blood pressure - which is why the body instinctively tries to protect that area so strongly. This strike will fold them, break their posture, and buys you the split second you need to get out fast. Look for the opportunity and strike.
The goal isn’t to “win” the fight…
It’s to survive it.
