TO ALL - HAPPY WOOD DRAGON YEAR #2024

Dalam bahasa Mandarin, gong xi fa cai ditulis dengan karakter 恭喜发财. Adapun dalam pinyin, kerap ditulis sebagai gōng xǐ fā cái.

Jika dibedah satu per satu, kata gong xi bermakna ‘selamat’. Sementara fa artinya ‘berkembang’ dan cai berarti ‘kekayaan’.

Apabila digabung, fa cai diterjemahkan sebagai ‘berkembang dan menjadi kaya’. Jadi, Gong Xi Fa Cai artinya “semoga menjadi lebih kaya atau makmur”.

Masyarakat Indonesia yang bukan etnis Tionghoa sendiri lebih sering mengucapkan Gong Xi Fa Cai daripada Xin Nian Kuai Le. Akhirnya, banyak yang mengira kalau Gong Xi Fa Cai artinya ‘Selamat Tahun Baru Imlek’.

Padahal, jika ingin mengatakan “Selamat Tahun Baru”, maka yang harus diucapkan adalah Xin Nian Kuai Le. Terlepas dari, kedua ungkapan tersebut tetap dapat diucapkan karena dua-duanya mengandung pengharapan dan doa.

Dear Past Students and New Students,

If it’s easy it’s NOT Pilates. If you only tried it once and gave up; it’s your loss. Pilates isn’t for everyone. It’s only for the mentally strong and challenged.

It takes a minimum of 10x Private classes to truly understand even a little segment of what Pilates is. Everybody hates their Pilates Instructors at first but listen, I am not here for you to love me.

I am here because I want you to Grow and Benefit from this as much as I benefited it myself and pass down the knowledge in the hope that you also one day can pass down this positive experience.

If this isn’t love, I don’t know what is. ~
