Are You A Rough Sea or A Smooth Sea? 🌊

Sometimes the sea is rough. With its rolling waves, you can not see through to the ground. You can not see anything, you just see the surface.

But when the sea is smooth, when there are no waves, you can look straight to the bottom. The same thing happens with your mind. You either have a busy or a quiet mind. If your mind is busy then there is disturbance. But if you have a quiet mind, you can see details. You can see past your thoughts.

So I encourage you - have a quiet mind.

You get more done.

Much Care,
Peter Caughey

I think it's important to share the knowledge that we've accumulated from our own life experiences. What makes the difference is when we've had our own experience, then it's real to us.

When we explain it to other people, because it's a real experience it has a lot more depth and a lot more honesty — and a lot more realism that comes with it.

If we are sharing an experience of something we have read or someone else's, then these experiences are not the same. The knowledge comes from our own wisdom and it creates a very strong and powerful knowledge when we share it.

It's easy to get caught up with sharing something that somebody else has experienced or something that someone else has said.

But our true experience gives us the wisdom inside the knowledge when we speak.

Inside the voice, we know that it's real. Because we felt it. We experienced it.
We had the experience of something unique in our life.

Peter Caughey

Nobody’s Perfect It's so easy to blame other people for your actions and for your choices because then you don't have to take responsibility for your own choices. When you're a perfectionist, if you make a mistake, it wasn't you. It must have been somebody else.

You find fault in other people to justify it wasn't you, somehow. If your self esteem is based on how you don't make mistakes, that you're a good person, you understand everything — it's going to be difficult when you do.

If you also know that you're imperfect and accept that we're always going to make mistakes, it's okay. Blaming yourself means there's no self acceptance of who you really are.

If you blame yourself when you make mistake, are you useless?

Self judgement is just as dangerous as blaming other people. Because both is not accepting the truth of what is happening.

We're trying to get away from that, to have the non judgement of ourselves and other people.

It's easier if you don't judge yourself for what you do and for the mistakes that you make.

It's pretty hard to stop trying to judge other people if you're still judging yourself, it's better off to start with yourself.

An acceptance of who you are with your imperfectness and doing the best we can, nobody's perfect. 🙏🏻

Stress is something that has become common in the modern world and it affects lots of people, and it actually has a hormonal reaction inside the body.

Stress creates cortisol which creates harmful energetic reactions inside the body that causes damage to ourselves.

Stress itself can come from a myriad of different things. It can be from being busy at work or having high pressured things to do. It can be from having lots of things to do all at once. You can get stress from being a parent, you can get stress from anything. Anything can cause you stress. ⚠️🪫

Usually it's because there's too many things going on in your life all at once and you're trying to cognitively think of many things at the same time. ⌛️

You have things that you've got to do this day, you've got to plan this and plan that, and you're trying to fit all of these into your day. The world has got so busy. We've got so many things we need to do.

You're just so busy from the time you get up in the morning until the time you go to bed. I think probably the big problem is why are we so busy? The stress is coming because we've got so many things we're trying to achieve and so many things we're trying to pump into our day and to fit into the day that all of a sudden, our day gets crowded.

I think the stress is coming from just the hyperactivity. So try slowing down. Take a deep breathe. Take a moment to pause and just breathe. 🧘🏻‍♂️🙏🏻

Much Care,
Peter Caughey.

🔁 Breaking the Cycle: Are You Repeating Your Story?

One of the most powerful realizations is that we often recreate our childhood stories in adulthood.

If we felt:
🔸 Unheard — we choose people who don’t listen.
🔸 Unloved — we push others away or seek constant validation.🔸 Abandoned — we fear closeness or expect people to leave.

The mind looks for evidence to support its beliefs.
But the moment we question the story — we take back control.

✨ “Is this belief actually true?”
✨ “What else could be possible?”

💬 What story are you ready to question today?
