Ansteel Group Successfully Holds Automotive Steel Customer Conference and Unveils the ANautoS Automotive Steel Solutions Brand
On November 13, Ansteel Group successfully convened its Automotive Steel Customer Conference and unveiled the ANautoS automotive steel solutions brand at the Ansteel Convention and Exhibition Center. The event reflects the Group’s ongoing commitment to advancing national strategic directives on branding and industrial modernization, guided by key policy orientations and leadership insights delivered during recent high-level engagements in Liaoning and at Ansteel’s Bensteel facilities.
The introduction of ANautoS represents a significant milestone in Ansteel’s journey toward a more integrated and optimized automotive steel business portfolio. By delivering comprehensive, high-performance solutions, ANautoS is positioned to support the automotive sector’s transition toward premium, intelligent, and sustainable development—strengthening the competitiveness of China’s automotive value chain in the global market.
Ansteel Group Party Secretary and Chairman Tan Chengxu attended the event and delivered remarks. Also in attendance were Guo Bin, General Manager and Deputy Party Secretary of Ansteel Group; Xu Shishuai, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager, and Chief Engineer of Ansteel Group.
From the automotive sector, participants included You Zheng, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of Dongfeng Motor Corporation; He Zhiqi, Executive Vice President of BYD; Jiang Xiuyun, Deputy General Manager of GAC Group; and Jiang Wenhu, Vice President of the Hongqi Brand Operations Committee under FAW Group.
In his address, Tan Chengxu extended a warm welcome to all guests on behalf of Ansteel Group and expressed heartfelt appreciation for the longstanding support and partnership that have contributed to the Group’s reform and development. He noted that the global automotive industry is currently focusing on themes such as lightweighting and safety, accelerating innovation cycles, and entering a phase of intensified collaboration and competition.
Tan emphasized that China’s automotive industry—an essential driver of the new wave of technological and industrial transformation—is a critical pillar of national economic development and a key foundation in building a strong manufacturing nation. Leveraging its scale advantages and growing innovation capabilities, China has become the world’s largest automotive market and production base.

According to available information, the ANautoS automotive steel solutions brand integrates the core resources of eight major brands across five production bases—Anshan Iron & Steel, Pangang, Bensteel, Lingyuan Iron & Steel, and Angang Lianzhong. This integration has created a comprehensive product portfolio covering hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel, pickled steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, bar products, and other full-category automotive steel offerings.
Through a unified “one interface, fully coordinated” service model, ANautoS provides customers with end-to-end solutions encompassing product customization, technical R&D, and supply chain assurance. With an annual service capacity exceeding 9 million tons, it is capable of meeting the diversified needs of more than 350 vehicle models.
During the event, the principal leader of Ansteel Group’s Automotive Materials Center delivered a keynote speech, providing an in-depth overview of the Group’s strategic layout and long-term vision in the automotive steel sector. Cui Dongshu, Secretary General of the China Passenger Car Association, and Professor Huang Mingxin of The University of Hong Kong each presented analyses on the current landscape and future development trends of the automotive industry, as well as the technological evolution and outlook of automotive high-strength steel.
In addition, representatives from the Ansteel Group Iron and Steel Research Institute introduced Ansteel’s EVI (Early Vendor Involvement) automotive steel solutions, highlighting the Group’s capabilities in collaborative development and advanced material support for automakers.
