Here’s a behind-the-scenes moment we’re proud to share: our dedicated team lifting and preparing a few boxes of cooking oil — one by one — to make sure everything is ready for delivery to our amazing disability clients. ♿️💛

This isn’t just about moving heavy stuff. It’s about commitment, care, and respect for the incredible individuals and families we serve. Every drop of oil is part of something bigger — helping our disability clients cook, run their businesses, and support their lives with independence and dignity.

At Harapan Baru, we don’t take shortcuts. We do the work, with our hands and with our hearts — because our clients deserve nothing less.

At Harapan Baru Lombok, we believe that learning doesn’t always come from books—it can also come from nature, play, and a whole lot of imagination. 🌱✨

This week, our little explorers from the Playgroup program tried something new: drawing leaves using… rocks! 🪨🍃 With curious eyes and tiny hands, they discovered that even the simplest things around us can become tools for creativity. Every scratch and tap turned into excitement, every line into a story, and every leaf into a little masterpiece. 🎨💚

Through activities like this, our Playgroup isn’t just about having fun—it’s about sparking creativity, building confidence, and showing that learning can be as joyful as play. 🌈👧👦

But this isn’t just any check-up. It’s a joyful, inclusive, and heartwarming gathering where our beloved disability clients come together for their monthly health monitoring—and a whole lot more. 💖

Monthly check-ups aren’t just about monitoring physical growth. They’re about building confidence, community, and continuity of care—especially for our clients with disabilities, who deserve the very best.

Thank you to all the families, team members, and, most importantly, our incredible clients for making today so meaningful.

🌙 Late Night Cilok Chaos 🐶🥢

Our beloved cilok-selling client Sarjono had a little... incident. Around midnight, while pushing his cilok cart home after a long day, he got into an accident with a pack of enthusiastic dogs. 🐕🐕🐕

What happened next?

Let’s just say:
🛒 Cilok went flying.
🔥 The soup pot took a heroic dive.
🐕 Dogs running away

But don't worry! He’s okay (just a little traumatized and have scars), and we've stepped in to help him get back on his feet — with some new equipment

Stay strong, Sarjono!

And to the dogs: next time, at least pay.

🐝🌿 What a buzzing and unforgettable day at Harapan Baru Lombok! We were thrilled to welcome a passionate team from Saxion for a meaningful hands-on collaboration — building new nest boxes for our amazing little friends, the Trigona bees! 🔨🏠

These stingless bees may be small, but they play a giant role in pollination and biodiversity. Together, we designed and built custom boxes to help support and expand their colonies. But the experience didn’t stop there… 🐝💛

After building the boxes, we had the rare and sweet opportunity to taste fresh honey directly from the queen’s colony — the very same bees that we were preparing to move into their brand-new homes! 🍯👑 It was a moment of pure connection with nature — rich, flavorful, and deeply symbolic of the care we’re putting into conservation.

Huge thanks to Saxion for bringing their curiosity, energy, and dedication. It’s collaborations like this that remind us: sustainability starts with action — and a little teamwork goes a long way. 🌎💪

Our organization hosted a super exciting event all about how to open a bank account—specially designed for our amazing friends with disabilities! 🏦💙 From breaking down banking basics to hands-on guidance with real forms (and even some laughs along the way), it was a day full of learning, empowerment, and new beginnings. We believe financial access is a right, not a privilege—and seeing the confidence grow as participants took their first steps toward financial independence? Absolutely priceless! 🌟💪

Meet one of our dedicated Trigona honey farmers, a passionate micro-entrepreneur who embarked on this journey with just 15 Trigona colonies. These stingless bees are known for producing honey with a rich, unique flavor and incredible medicinal benefits.

Through his hard work, and a little bit of our support, this farmer has been able to nurture and expand the colonies, doubling them to 30 thriving boxes. Now, the hard work has paid off—the first successful harvest is here!

This marks an exciting step toward sustainable beekeeping and economic empowerment, proving that small beginnings can lead to big success. Stay tuned for more inspiring updates! 💛🐝

Last Tuesday and Wednesday, we celebrated this special occasion with local government officials, partners, and our valued clients to mark this significant milestone. This event is a testament to our commitment and marks the official beginning of a new chapter in our journey.
