May the merit of this offering reach him; may he abide in happiness.
May the Saṅgha compassionately accept this offering.
Through the power of this wholesome merit,
may my father be released from all suffering.
Established in faith in the Triple Gem,
may he be freed from the cycle of saṁsāra.”

With your gentle hands,
you offer this robe
with a heart full of faith and sincerity.
Do not grieve for my passing.
Your merit has reached me,
like light breaking through darkness.
Here, I am at peace…
light, joyful, and sustained by wholesome kamma.
Your tears once bound me in sorrow,
but today, your goodness
has become a bridge of happiness for me.
Continue walking the path of Dhamma, my child…
do not abandon virtue, do not neglect meditation.
If you remain steadfast in the Triple Gem,
not only will I rejoice
you too will go beyond suffering.
