My Story
My Name is Baz Yafai, I am a level 3 qualified personal trainer, Life Coach and Neuro Linguistic Practitioner (NLP). I have BSc honours degree in Sports Coaching Science and one of the most driven people you’ll ever meet. At 33 years old I have 10 years’ experience within the fitness and coaching industry and I really hope you can come and join me on my journey.
As a life coach & NLP, I support people with strategies to help achieve their goals, e.g. how to master a balanced life & what is holding them back to achieving their goals (professional and personal life). Other areas that I support with on depending on the client is creating healthier values and beliefs, anxiety, minimize fears, remove barriers to success and build positive habits within their life (all round wellbeing and mindset changes). Now from education, experiences and self-learning over the last 10 years I support in demonstrating ways in which you can manoeuvre through life and excel.
At Velocity Life & Fitness we are focused entirely on personal development issues. Because the lack of self-belief can ruin our happiness and sabotage our success, we concentrate on developing new ways to help you to realise your very best. You should never be ashamed of your story because it will inspire others. In a short story, I lived with internal depression at a young age, which really held me back in life. Following seeking help and guidance, I am now on the other side of it. Where I am now is, I feel happy, healthy and knowing what I achieved has given me so much internal happiness. Now my passion and love are helping you get to where you need to be in life and help you reach your goal mind and body.
I have been athletic my whole life, playing rugby for 11 years at a very high standard. But now my life is natural bodybuilding, being a life coach & supporting others. No matter what exercise you enjoy, what your life is like, anyone who can commit themselves to pushing through the hard days is a winner in my eyes. What I will say is that fitness and becoming the best you should be a part of your life. I don’t want to restrict you, I want you to be able to eat your favourite foods, enjoy social occasions, have “YOU” time and still be able to smash your goals. I am passionate about having a better mindset in life and overcoming any type of mental health, which can crossover into personal training as I believe that a positive mental state, will help you achieve anything. Working together not only in training but every part of your life. Not every day will be easy or how you want it to be, but every day will lead you to a better mind, life and loving yourself more and more. I don’t need perfection, just your best. BELIEVE
