Marina De Lima Yoga & Healing

Marina De Lima Yoga & Healing Marina De Lima is a 500 hour Registered Yoga Teacher and Trainer, an International Retreat Leader, Marina is a certified 500-hour registered yoga teacher.

Marina received her certification in 2014 from Yoga in the World under the instruction of Anayra Calderon. After over 10 years of working in television production and entertainment, Marina came to yoga to find balance in her often hectic professional life. Marina fell in love with the way yoga challenged her physically through asana practice as well as mentally and spiritually through meditation p

ractice. In March of 2015 Marina traveled to India to further her yoga education and study Ashtanga Vinyasa with Jamie Clarke and Dulce Aguilar of The Yoga People. In November of 2017 Marina completed her 300 hour advanced training with The Yoga People with concentrations in philosophy, methodology, and theory of Rocket Yoga, Yin Yoga, Mandala Vinyasa, and Shamanic Arts. Marina's greatest passion in life is traveling and exploring foreign lands. Marina was bitten by the travel bug at a very young age, having traveled with her family from her native Brazil to New York City at only 2 years old. Marina believes that traveling, as much as yoga and meditation, are an essential part of her health and wellness. Traveling, retreating, adventure, as well as yoga, are all tools that Marina believes broadens your scope of the world and allows for you to get out of your own way. Exploring your bodies through asana practice, your minds through meditation, and different people and cultures through travel, cultivates compassion and kindness. In 2015, Marina became the official Yoga Teacher for World Travelers Association (WTA) and has been teaching yoga on WTA experiences around the world. Marina's vision is about crafting worldly, and fulfilling experiences for those who seek to learn about the world, and themselves through yoga, meditation, and adventure.

Creativity in practice isn’t about doing something new. It’s about allowing yourself to move beyond the idea of what yoga should be.

To blend. To explore. To listen.

Over the years, my teaching has become less about form…and more about feeling.

A weaving of movement, stillness, breath, energy, and awareness.

Not separate practices—but one continuous experience.

This is The Elemental Path.

A space to explore your practice, your voice, and your way of weaving it all together.

Explore the path in 2026.

A practice for hope… for what is emerging.

This is an acupressure point on the Liver meridian known as The Gate of Hope (Liver 14) — a point I’ve been working with this month, both in my own practice and in my classes.

In Chinese Medicine, the Liver is connected to vision, direction, and our ability to move forward in life. When Qi becomes stagnant, we can feel stuck, frustrated, or disconnected from what’s possible.

This point helps to gently move that energy…
creating space for clarity, direction, and a renewed sense of possibility.

But beyond the physical and energetic…

Hope is something we can actively participate in.

This is a time of year that reminds us that something unseen is always emerging. That life is always moving beneath the surface, waiting to be expressed.

And when we choose to share what lives inside of us — our vision, our voice, our creations — we don’t just move our own energy…We offer something to the world.

We spread hope. We bring light. We remind others of what is possible.

Take a few minutes today to connect to this point, to your breath, and to what is emerging within you🌀

The Elemental Path is not a single training…
it’s a journey of remembering🌀

A space for those who feel the call to go deeper—to move beyond just doing the practice,
and begin living it🌀

Whether you’re curious about stepping into the role of teacher through the 200hr Foundation,
or you’re already teaching (or devoted to your practice) and ready to deepen your understanding, refine your voice, and expand your capacity—there is something here for you🌀

The 200hr Foundational Training is where it begins. A shift from practicing yoga as something you do, to embodying it as a way of living🌀

Through the 8 Limbs of Ashtanga Yoga, we explore the roots of Hatha Yoga, functional anatomy, philosophy, history, and the art of guiding a class with clarity, intention, and confidence🌀

From there, the path opens…

The Quiet Body introduces the foundations of Yin Yoga and subtle body practices—an invitation into stillness and deeper listening🌀

Yin Alchemy expands this into a rich exploration of the energetic body through the Chinese 5 Element system, meridian theory, Qi Gong, and acupressure🌀

The Art of Vinyasa is a journey into creativity—
where sequencing, language, and expression come alive through the lens of krama vinyasa and the ta***ic chakra system🌀

And in The Dance of Yin & Yang, we begin to integrate it all—movement and stillness,Shiva and Shakti, heaven and earth—through advanced meridian theory, breath, meditation, and embodied practice🌀

For those walking the full 300hr path, this journey is completed through 1–2–1 mentorship—time to integrate, refine, and reveal a way of practicing and teaching that is sustainable, authentic, and aligned with your true nature🌀

This is not a one-size-fits-all path. It’s a living, evolving journey—one that meets you where you are, and invites you to awaken and share what is real for you🌀

If you feel the call…DM me to explore where your Elemental Path begins ✨

Creativity—and what it means to teach creatively—has completely transformed for me over the last 7 years.

For a long time, I felt this pressure…to always have something new. New sequences. New music. Something exciting. Something different.
Something that would keep others engaged—and honestly, keep me engaged too.

But at some point, that started to feel like noise.

So I began asking different questions—
Where does creativity actually come from?
What is it that I truly want to express?
And who am I, right now, in this moment of my life?

As I explored this, something shifted.

The pressure dissolved. And instead of trying to be creative…
I started allowing creativity to move through me.

The practice changed. My teaching changed.
The way I shared what lives inside of me began to take on new shapes and forms.

This journey… is what became the foundation of The Art of Vinyasa.

A space for teachers and practitioners to stretch the edges of their practice— to listen more deeply, to move with intention, and to express with clarity what is alive within them.

To ask:
Where do I want to go—and why?
What is inspiring me?
And can I share that honestly, through my voice, my movement, my presence?

Join me June 1–7 in the Forest 🌳for a deep exploration of language, voice, movement, breath, philosophy, intention, and ritual.

I’ll meet you there. 🌿

The spirit of Txaná is alive in my heart, giving me the courage and clarity to speak, to sing, to remember, and to share my song💛

What a deep honor to receive the Hampaya Baptism from Ninawa Pai da Mata, a master of the Amazon and spiritual leader of the Huni Kuin people🌀

Hampaya is a sacred pepper baptism practiced by the Huni Kuin, Indigenous people of the Amazon. A spicy pepper medicine is applied to the tip of the tongue with the beak of the Txaná, creating a physical and spiritual clearing of the throat.

The Txaná is revered for its ability to echo the sounds of the forest, and through this ritual, its spirit invokes the power of voice, prayer, and the sharing of sacred songs🌀

This is more than a ritual. It is a transmission.
A remembering of voice as medicine🌀

Thank you
Gratidão 🙏🏽 Alegria 🫶🏽

I hold deep reverence for these traditions,
for the wisdom keepers, for the lineages that continue to carry the songs of the forest forward🌀

May these prayers continue to travel. May the voices of the forest be heard. May we remember how to listen… and how to sing our part in this great song of life. 🌿✨Haux Haux!

Over the years, so many of you have asked:
Where do I begin?
How do I continue?
What comes next?

So I’ve created these trainings as different entry points along the same path.

Each one holds a piece of the work I’ve devoted my life to—from strong, creative vinyasa…
to the subtle depth of yin…to the integration of energy, philosophy, and self-inquiry.

And now, a new chapter begins:

The Dance of Yin and Yang — 100hr in Goa, India
A space where everything starts to come together. Where we explore how the body thrives through both effort and ease…
how we build, soften, listen, and respond.

This is a training in balance, relationship, and continuity.

If you’ve practiced with me, studied with me, or simply feel curious—
you are welcome here.

The Elemental Path was born from curiosity.

A curiosity that led me through many doorways of practice—
Kundalini, Ashtanga, Forest Yoga, Iyengar, Rocket, Yin, Qi Gong, meditation, energy work.

I wanted to understand it all.

But the greatest lesson my teachers gave me was not only the depth of the traditions…

It was the permission to dissolve the rules I thought I had to follow.

When I allowed the practices to meet my love of music, dance, art, poetry, and ceremony, something new began to emerge.

I saw that yoga was never meant to be a single method.

It is a living portal.

A portal into our creative intelligence.
A portal into our deepest potential.
A portal back to our true nature.

This is the essence of The Elemental Path🌀

How do you capture a week of alchemy?

Seven days devoted to the quiet inner landscape. Where stillness becomes a teacher and the body reveals its hidden pathways🌀

Through Yin Yoga, Qi Gong, meridian mapping, acupressure, and the wisdom of the Five Elements, we softened, listened, and remembered another way of being🌀

Yin Alchemy is one step along the Elemental Path—a journey of practice, study, and self-inquiry that invites us back to the quiet intelligence that lives within🌀

These trainings are more than learning—they are a return. A return to presence, to feeling, to the deeper rhythms of nature moving through us🌀

Deep gratitude to the incredible yogis who brought their curiosity, openness, and heart to this journey🌀

And to my dear friend and colleague Philippe for helping bring form to the formless🌀

Yin Alchemy returns in 2027🌀
Registration opens April 1st.

In a world that often asks us to look outward for love, I’ve been reflecting on how our deepest gift—to ourselves and to the world—begins with staying present and devoted to our own hearts.

When the noise feels loud…
when comparison, urgency, or doubt pulls you away from yourself…
I return to three simple words:

Here I am.

This is a practice of presence.
A quiet remembering.
A way of coming home to yourself again and again.

I’ve shared a free guided meditation rooted in this practice—an invitation to pause, ground, and reconnect with what feels true within you.

My Valentine’s gift to you 💗

Yin Yoga is often misunderstood.
It isn’t about stretching deeper or doing less —
it’s about listening more deeply.

Through long-held, intentional shapes, we work with the fascia, hydrate the joints, and support longevity and vitality.
But the true alchemy happens beneath the physical body.

Yin teaches us patience — staying with sensation.
Trust — learning to listen to our inner wisdom.
And surrender — softening our grip on what we cannot control.

From that place, the nervous system rests.
The breath deepens.
And we begin to move in rhythm with the Dao — the quiet, steady flow of life itself.
