Sometimes our mind can get a bit busy…

Thoughts that keep looping, replaying, spiralling…

It can be so easy to get caught up in the noise of the mind. A lot of the time without us noticing it until we've traveled in deep.

We’re living in a world filled with constant input, stimulation, notifications, expectations… and sometimes our nervous system just doesn’t get the chance to land.

This is a snippet from a meditation that was created to help you step out of the spiral.
Not by forcing your mind to be quiet, but by gently guiding your body back into the present moment.

No pressure to do this perfectly.
No expectation to “clear your mind.”
Just a soft place to land, one breath at a time.

You can come back to this whenever your thoughts feel overwhelming…
before sleep, during anxious moments, or anytime your inner world feels a little too busy.

We all walk through the fire at some point.

An initiation, a cleansing, a rebirth.
An energetic death ritual burning away what we’re not.

A revealing of what’s always been there... what has always been whole.

They are ceremonies of remembrance.

It's not a one-off thing.

It happens again and again when we're ready to accept and open up to ourselves more. When we are ready to expand into the next cycles of our evolution.

When we're ready to let go and surrender.

When we're ready to witness the divine within ourselves.

And each time we surface we come back renewed, lighter, clearer.

A burning away of that which shackled us from truly living.

From truly being ourselves in our wholeness.

You can still feel gratitude even during times of challenge.

I started this little ritual where every time I get on the back of a grab/gojek (which normally takes about 20 min). I take in my surroundings, nature, people, the energy current around me, and I list the things that I am grateful for.

Even when it hasn't been the "best" day. Stepping into gratitude actually helps me to bring awareness to the experiences that has been/are uplifting, that has brought me comfort, happiness, fulfilment, etc. And, it also brings awareness to the many times challenging experiences were not permanent and how they always served a purpose in my expansion and remembrance.

I don't see gratitude as bypassing my emotions or experiences. I sit at the table of all the shades of me and allow them to speak, to be heard, to be felt, to be seen. I see them as my messagers. So when they ask for some "airtime" I sit down and listen, I feel, I witness, I acknowledge, I get out the mirror of "brutal" honesty(which is just honesty, but we've run from ourselves for so long that real honest truth seems brutal), and when I'm done I thank them and I am grateful for them.

So I am grateful for the challenging parts too.

I acknowledge the challenge, but I'm also grateful for what it is calling in.

And I'm also grateful for all the other things that feels good.

They can co-exist.

And it's this energy of gratitude that helps in the transformation and transition out of the challenge.

It's been raining so much here.
I listened, felt it and collaborated with it.

May this container hold you as a place to land, to be held and to rest.

The monochord holds a continuous harmonic field, and my voice weaves in and out of it intuitively. You don’t need to understand anything.

Just listen. Or lie down. Or let it play in the background while you breathe a little deeper than you have all day.

It's okay to be tired and giving yourself the space to rest.

It's essential.

Nature refects this to us all the time.

I don't just share things for the sake of sharing.
I embody what I share on these platforms.
I cannot do it any other way.

So this is me.
Showing up tired, allowing myself to be as I am, vulnerable and open.

We’re so conditioned to show up polished.
To post when we’re glowing.
To share when we’ve already processed everything into something inspirational.

But today I’m just… here.

Human. A little flat. A little stretched. A little quiet.

And I want to normalise that.

I don’t always feel expansive.
I don’t always feel magnetic.
I don’t always have the answers.

Sometimes I’m simply moving through a wave.

If you’re in a tired season too — you don’t have to perform your strength.
You don’t have to turn your heaviness into a lesson immediately, or at all.

You’re allowed to just be in it.

There’s nothing wrong with you.
There’s nothing to fix.
Showing up as your true authentic self is enough.

This is me embracing vulnerability instead of bypassing it for a video.

And if this resonates, just know… you’re not alone in it. 🤍

Some of you who have been on this journey with me know that I have an affiliated account

⚪ The Zen State Mind is my brand. It remains the safe container for meditations, nervous system regulation, reflections, embodiment, self-expansion, conscious living and overall wellness.

🟣 SoundofEïa is the voice of that container.
The sonic expression.
The transmission.
They are not separate brands.
They are one ecosystem, serving different functions.
Different expressions of the same heart.

I realised the music and ambient sound journeys need their own space to breathe. A place where I can simply sing. Channel. Create. Release.
So from now on, all music will live under SoundofEïa.

So I have just posted my first video on my new YouTube Channel for SoundofEïa (which this is a snippet of), and in the future I will be posting all channelled vocals, ambient soundscapes, future music releases, and collaborations with other artists there.

So often we think mindfulness means sitting perfectly still for hours or mastering some special technique. But really… mindfulness can be as simple as:

Taking a slow, conscious breath before replying to a message.
Feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin.
Noticing the sound of the leaves moving in the wind.
Truly tasting your morning tea or coffee.

It’s about presence and awareness, not perfection.

The more we return to these little moments, the more we feel grounded, calm, and alive.
