The peaceful death has occurred in Killybegs Community Hospital of Teresa Heekin, Tullymore, Ardara.
Predeceased by her husband, Josie.
Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.
Remains reposing in Mc Cabes Funeral Home, Ardara tomorrow Friday, from 5.00pm until 9.00pm.
Removal from there on Saturday at 9.30am going to The Church of the Holy Family Ardara for 10.00 Funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
May she rest in Peace.

The peaceful death has occurred of Johnny D Earley Main Street Ardara formerly of Mullinard Glenties surrounded by his Loving Family and close friends.
Predeceased by his parents Dan and Mary Earley and his sister Ann Boyle.
Johnny D will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Gretta his son Don(Tina) his daughter Gwen(Robert) and grandchildren Caoimhe Conor Tomas Tadhg Donncha and Kenzie.His sisters Margaret(Paul), Maura(Johnny rip),Patricia(Rodger) nieces and nephews.
His remains will repose at McCabes funeral home Ardara F94VCK1 on wednesday the 6th May from 3pm to 9pm and on Thursday 7th May at his home Mullinard Glenties (F94yr88) from 12pm to 9pm.
Requiem Mass will take place at 11am on Friday 8th May in the Church of the Holy Family Ardara followed by burial in Glenties Cemetery.
May he rest in Peace.

The peaceful death has occurred of Bernie Craig Connolly, 20 Drumaghy Park, Ardara, Co. Donegal, surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of the staff at Donegal Hospice.

Beloved mother to Craig and Saragh, Bernie will be sadly missed by her sisters Bridget and Rosemary, brothers John (Patricia) Leonard (Mary) Paddy (Jean), nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Frank and Mona, brother Frankie and her husband Pete.

Her remains will repose at McCabes Funeral Home F94VCK1 on Thursday, April 16th, from 12pm to 9pm and on Friday, April 17, from 12pm to 6pm, followed by removal to the Church of the Holy Family, Ardara at 7pm. Requiem Mass will take place at 11am on Saturday, April 18th, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

First Anniversary..In loving memory of Donal Whelan Hillhead Ardara who died on 21st of march 2025 Donal’s 1st Anniversary mass will be celebrated on Saturday 21st at 7.30pm in the church of the Holy family Ardara. May he rest in peace

The peaceful death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Kathleen Breslin, Lower Monargan, Ardara, after a short illness and surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband John Neil and sons Joe and Oliver. Deeply regretted by her daughter Caroline (Joe MacHugh), son Paddy (Ann), daughters-in-law Ann and Mary, 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, brother Paddy, sister Ethna McLoone, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Her remains will be reposing at McCabe’s Funeral Home, Common, Ardara, F94 VCK1 on Monday 16th from 2pm till 9pm .

Funeral Mass in Church of The Holy Family, Ardara on Tuesday the 17th at 11.00am.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard….

The peaceful death has occurred of Veronica Bennett Hill Head Ardara. After a short illness, bourn with dignity and courage surrounded by her loving family in Letterkenny University Hospital.

Predeceased by her parents Paddy and Rose Breslin, brothers Jim, Peter, Charlie Joe, Con and Pa**ie. Sisters Bridie, Kathleen and Rose. Also by her husband Phonise , sons Martin, Peter, and daughter Mary Phylis and grandson Christopher.

Vericona will be greatly misses by her sons Eugene(kathleen) Pa**ie, Claire(Richard) Sharon(John Damien) Fidelma (Brian), 16 Grandchildren and 15 Great grandchildren. Her sister Mary Judge(New Jersey) and nieces and nephews.Her remains will repose at her home F94N2R5 Saturday the 7th and Sunday the 8th from 12 till 9pm.Funeral mass in the church of the Holy family Ardara on Monday at 12 noon. The peaceful death has occurred of Noeleen Brennan (née McCole),
Hillhead, Ardara, Co. Donegal (F94V8Y4), at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of Josie and devoted mother to Annmarie (Liam), Pauric (Annmarie), Joseph (Sharon), Adrian (Emer), Declan (Ruth) and Angela (Ronan). A much-loved and cherished grandmother to her nineteen grandchildren.

Noleen will be sadly missed by her sisters Annie, Fidelma, Bernadette and her extended family.

Predeceased by her parents Dan and Nan McCole, her sister Margaret Mary and her brother John.

Her remains will repose at her home on Monday (2nd February) from 12pm to 9pm and on Tuesday (3rd February) from 12pm to 9pm.

Requiem Mass will take place at 12pm on Wednesday, 4th February, in the Church of the Holy Family, Ardara, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Funeral mass can be viewed on MCN media church of the holy family Ardara.

Sharpe, Anne (Née Lydon) of Kennaughty Ardara, Co. Donegal and formerly of Loughconeera,
Kilkerrin, Connemara, Co. Galway.
Anne passed away peacefully after a long illness, borne with great dignity and courage, on 28th
January 2026 at Letterkenny University Hospital.
Predeceased by her parents Mark and Abbey Lydon and her brother Tommy.
Anne will be sadly missed by her heartbroken husband Maurice, her sons Joseph and Dean,
daughter Diane, daughter in law Sheena and her grandsons Niall and Jonathan, by her brothers
Cőilín, Paddy and John and her sisters Julia, Maureen, Barbara and Maggie, brothers in law,
sisters in law, nieces nephews and wide circle of friends.

Sadly missed by his nieces Mary, Patrica, Kathleen, mairead and nephews Hugh, Gerry, Philip and John Damian. Reposing at McCabes funneral home Common Ardara F94VCK1 today Friday from 4pm to 9pm and tomorrow Saturday from 4 to 9pm funeral from there on Sunday morning going to the church of the Holy family Ardara for funeral mass at 11 am burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery

The wife & family of the late Tom Diver, Drimaha, Ardara would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who expressed their sympathy to us on our recent bereavement. We are deeply grateful for the many expressions of kindness, for the mass cards, letters, floral tributes and for those who attended the wake, funeral and burial. We extend special thanks to Fr. Aodhan Cannon for Tom's beautiful funeral mass.
Our thanks also to Deirdre O'Malley for her beautiful music.
Grateful thanks to all the nurses who tended to Tom at home and also to the Doctors both at home and in Sligo and Letterkenny hospitals.
To all the people that brought food to the house and to the staff in the shop for all their work in the Parish Centre after the funeral mass, it was very much appreciated
Thanks also to the stewards and bus drivers and to everyone who helped in the house during the wake.
A special thanks to Raymond and Derek McCabe for the dignified manner in which they carried out their duties.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Acknowledgement and Month’s Mind of James Gallagher
Letterkenny and Ardara

The family of the late James Gallagher wish to express their sincere and heartfelt thanks to all who supported us during our recent bereavement and to those who visited James during his time in hospital.

We extend our special thanks to Fr. Aodhan Cannon for celebrating such a beautiful and heartfelt Funeral Mass. Our thanks also to Cliona McDermott for the beautiful music, and to all who participated in the Funeral Mass through readings and prayers of the faithful.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended the wake and funeral, sent messages of sympathy, Mass cards, and had Masses offered in James’ memory.

Our sincere thanks to all who sent flowers, and to the Parish Centre for the catering following the Funeral Mass.

A special word of thanks to McCabe’s Funeral Directors for their professionalism, care, and the dignified manner in which all arrangements were carried out.

We wish to express our deepest appreciation to the staff of Donegal Hospice for the compassion, care, and kindness shown to James and to our family during his final days. We will be forever grateful.

Please accept this acknowledgement as a sincere expression of our gratitude to all who supported us in any way.

James’ Month’s Mind Mass will take place in the Church of the Holy Family, Ardara, on Friday the 2nd of January at 7:30pm.
