The peaceful death has occurred of Agnes Mc Gill (nee Gallagher) Aighe Ardara at Donegal Hospice, surrounded by her loving family.

She will be dearly missed by her loving husband Jimmy, her sons Seamus and Hugh, her daughter-in-law Linda and her beloved grandchildren Joseph and James, her sisters Brid, Teresa and Philomena, her brother Hugh, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by her son Joseph, her sisters Annie, Mary, Kathleen, Peggy, her brothers Paddy and Phiil.

Reposing at Mc CabeS Funeral Home, Ardara F94VCK1 on Monday 17th November from 4.00pm until 8.00pm

Funeral Mass on Wednesday 19th in the Church of the Holy Family, Ardara at 12 noon with burial afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.

The peaceful death has occurred of Mary Alice Molloy formerly Lower Mully, Glenties. Pre-deceased by her brothers Paddy Joe and Martin.
Sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. Remains reposing at her nephew Gerard Molloy Mullanmore Glenties(F94P890) from 7pm until 11pm today Saturday 1st November and tomorrow from 12pm with removal to the Church of The Holy Family Edeninfagh to arrive at 7pm.

The death has occurred of John McGroarty, in London, England. Sadly missed by his brother Paul and wife Cheryl, their sons Jake, Adam and Liam, his extended family, friends and neighbours. John is predeceased by his mother and father, Nora (nee Breslin, Meenavalley) and Willie (Castleogary) of Hillhead, Ardara.

Funeral takes place on Saturday 4th October at the Church of the Holy Family Ardara, with Mass at noon. Afterwards, John’s ashes will be laid to rest with his mother and father in the adjoining cemetery.

Mc Hugh acknowledgement and months mind

We the family of the late Patricia Mc Hugh would like to thank everyone who sympathised with us in our recent sad loss

We wish to express our gratitude and appreciation to those who sent mass cards and messages of condolences.Thank you to all who attended the wake and funeral. We appreciate the kindness and generosity of our relatives neighbours and friends who supported us in so many ways during this time

Thank you to the staff in oncology in letterkenny hospital to Liam Patton hospice nurse and Lorraine Mc Hugh PHN for their support and care towards Patricia in her final weeks we will be forever grateful
Sincere thanks to Fr Daly throughout mums illness and for the lovely funeral mass
Thanks to Grainne Gavigan for the beautiful music in the Chapel

A special thanks to Derek and Raymond Mc Cabe and gravediggers for their professional service and guidance throughout the wake and funeral

The untimely death has occurred of Owen Byrne, Portnoo Road, Ardara F94R744, on September 7th at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Sadly missed by his heartbroken family, his wife, Deirdre, daughter Lucy (Brian), son Colm (Aileen) and the five loves of his life, his little grandchildren; Sadie, Jude, Rían, Oisín and Shay, his siblings, nieces, nephews and his many, many friends and neighbours whom he adored.
Pre-deceased by his parents, Rosie and Hugh and sisters Roisin and Eileen (RIP).
Arrangements are as follows:
Remains reposing at McCabe’s Funeral Home from 7pm-10pm today, Tuesday the 9th September. There will be a private removal from there for family at 10pm.
Wake will take place at Owen’s residence on Portnoo Road (F94R744) Wednesday the 10th and Thursday the 11th September from 12 noon - 10pm. Funeral from there at 11.40 Am going to The Church of the Holy Family Ardara, For funeral mass at 12 noon on Friday the 12th of September. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery .

On September 5th 2025, surrounded by her loving family, peacefully in her own home after a short illness.

The peaceful death has occured of Colm Sweeney, Drumaghy park, Ardara ,(formerly of Carrickacleave) in the Donegal hospice surrounded by his loving wife and family.
Colm will be forever missed by his beloved wife Teresa, his children Linda, Jennifer (Lawrence), Danielle (Richard Patrick), Elena (Ezel) and son Colm. Sadly missed by his granddaughters Ellieanne and Niamh, his grandsons, Axel, CJ, Joey, Shayne,Turlough, James and Lukas. His loving sisters Finola (PJ) and Geardline, his nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
Colm is predeceased by his cherished Mother Helen, his father John, his son Joseph, his sister Elizabeth)and grandson Theo.His remains will repose at Mc Cabes Funeral home Ardara this evening Sunday from 5pm until 9pm and tomorrow Monday from 4pm until 9pm.
Funeral from there on Tuesday morning going to the church of the Holy family Ardara for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

The Peaceful death has occurred of Phelim Mc Gill, Straleel, Carrick.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Ann, His Children, Philomena (Conor), Barry, Grainne, Phelim and Aidan (Emma), his brother Gerard, his sisters, Mary Service (Andy), Kathleen Gorman and Martina Byrne (Joe), his son in law Raymond Mc Cabe, his nieces and nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Phelim will be forever remembered and cherished by his loving grandchildren, Jessica, Ailbhe, Evelyn, Ryan, Aoibhinn, Katie Ann and Meabh.

Phelim is predeceased by his parents, Mary and Con, his brothers John, Conal and his sister Teresa,

Phelims remains will repose at his residence ( F94 E3F4) on Monday from 12 noon until 11.00pm and on Tuesday from 11.00am until 11.00pm, with rosary at 10.00pm.

Removal from his residence on Wednesday, going to St Patricks Church Meenaneary for 12 noon Mass with burial afterwards in Carrick Cemetery.
