Beatrice and family of the late Connell Mc Devitt ,Loughderryduff ,Portnoo would like to express our heartfelt thanks to our families ,friends , neighbours and wider communities who supported us during our recent sad bereavement.To everyone who attended the wake and funeral,to those who sent mass cards and messages of sympathy,floral contributions and to those who travelled long distances to be with us during those days , we are so grateful to you all .

Our sincere thanks to our extended families , local businnesses and neighbours for your generosity in supplying and helping with food during the wake. To our tea ladies ,those who helped with traffic , our bus drivers and those who supplied buses , and anyone who helped in any way we thank you all.

Special thanks to Bernadine and staff and the committee at the Dolmen Centre for the use of their facilities during the wake and for the refreshments after the funeral.

Thanks to our wonderful and caring home helps who looked after Connell so well on a daily basis, to Bridie and Patricia our Alzheimer’s carers, who dedicated their time to Connell every week and to our public health nurses who carried out their duties with professionalism and care.
Also thanks to the the staff at killybegs Community Hospital for looking after Connell during his repite.

Fr.Daly we thank you so much for your spiritual visits to Connell especially in recent weeks. Thanks for your support and assistance during the wake and for celebrating the funeral mass along with Fr Aodhan Cannon.

Thanks to Connell and Sophie for the beautiful music and singing during the funeral and to Eimear at the Oak and rose florist for her lovely floral arrangements.

We also wish to thank Ciaran and Kevin at Shovlin’s funeral home for their professionalism and dignity in carrying out their duties during Connell’s wake and funeral .You made our time of sadness and grief more bearable and for that we are truly greatful. Thanks also to those who prepared the grave for Connells final resting place.

We hope this acknowledgment expresses our sincere thanks to everyone and we will forever remember your kindness and support during this time.

Connell’s months mind mass will take place in St. Connell’s Church Kilclooney on Saturday 3rd January 2026 at 6pm

The peaceful death has occurred of Patricia Slowey (née Devlin), Tullycleave, Ardara, Co. Donegal, formally of Longford town on 28th December 2025 at Donegal Hospice.

Loved and forever missed by her husband Terence, her children Yvonne (Matt), Jennifer (Owen) and Kelvin (Nicole), her grandchildren Lucy, Evelyn and Callum who she cherished dearly.

Sadly missed by her sisters Teresa, Catherine and Margaret, her brothers Michael and Christy, her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by her parents Paddy and Margaret Devlin, and sister Angela.

May she rest in peace.

Patricia’s remains will repose at Shovlin’s Funeral Home, Sandfield, Ardara today Sunday 28th December from 6pm to 9pm and tomorrow Monday 29th December, 12pm to 8pm. Funeral home private on the morning of the funeral.
�Removal from there on Tuesday 30th December to the Church of the Holy Family, Ardara, for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Donegal Hospice.

The death has taken place of Mary (Mamie) Sharpe Loughfad, Portnoo .

Peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her husband Hugh.
Mamie will be sadly missed by her son Joseph , Daughters Pauline, Geraldine, Sally, Evelyn, Sheila ,Noelle and Fiona, Sons in laws , her brother Michael , her 20 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren and all her relatives neighbours and Friends.

Her Remains will be reposing at her residence F94D8P5 from 1p.m today (Saturday) There will be a one way system in operation to the Wake house with entry at Clooney and exit at Kilclooney Chapel. Funeral from there on Monday morning at 10.30a.m to St Conals Church Kilclooney for 11a.m requiem mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Ronan Daly , Rosbeg, Co. Donegal, and formerly of Terenure, Dublin.

Sudden but peacefully at home.

Ronan will be sadly missed by his son Jonathan, brothers Bob and Aidan, sister Anne Marie, nieces and nephews, sister-in-law, and especially by his constant companion Mary.

Predeceased by his sister Deirdre and brother Paul.

Ronans remains will leave Shovlins Funeral Home Sandfield Ardara Co.Donegal on Monday morning the 15th December at 10.30a.m travelling to Service and cremation in Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome, Harolds Cross Dublin at 3.15p.m

We, the family of the late Colm Campbell, wish to offer our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to all who supported us and stood by us during our recent sad loss. Your kindness, your presence, and your prayers have meant more to us than we can ever say.
Thank you to everyone who came to the wake and funeral, to Dad’s neighbours in Ardeskin Heights, his golfing friends, Bank of Ireland staff and members of CLG Ard an Rátha, all who lined the road on his final journey back to Ardara. Your respect and solidarity brought us great comfort.
We appreciate all the many messages of condolence, phone calls, Mass cards, sympathy cards, and all the Masses offered. To Dad’s friends and neighbours who showed such generosity and thoughtfulness, we will be forever grateful.
Our thanks also to all who helped at the wake and funeral, to those who prepared food or brought refreshments, and to the Harbour Restaurant for their support. A heartfelt word of thanks to Shovlin Undertakers for the gentle and dignified way they handled the arrangements, and to the grave diggers.
We offer special thanks to Fr. Aodhán Cannon for his guidance and compassion in preparing Dad’s funeral Mass, and to Herta Kelly for the beautiful singing.
We are deeply grateful to Millrow Family Practice Donegal Town, the Ambulance Service and to the staff of Sligo University Hospital for the care and kindness shown to Dad in his final days.

The death has occurred of Thomas Carr, Milltown, Barnesmore, Donegal, F94E3HC.

His death occurred peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Paddy & Mary and his five brothers Frank, Eddie, Laurence, Peter and Gerard. Sadly missed by his loving wife Anna and his children Deirdre (Domnick), Marie (Cillian), Shane (Emer), Joel (Tara), Bridgeen (Michael), Emer (Gary) and his adoring thirteen Grandchildren, his sisters Mary (Pearse RIP) and Annie (Peter) brothers Joseph (Mary), Patrick (Alice), extended family, neighbours and friends.
Thomas was a devoted husband and a proud family man and he leaves behind a legacy of love, strength and kindness.

Reposing at his residence on Thursday the 20th and Friday the 21st from 3pm to 9pm. Rosary at 9pm. Removal to St. Agatha’s Church, Clar on Saturday the 22nd of November for 11am funeral mass followed by burial afterwards at St. Agatha's Cemetery, Clar. House private on the morning of the funeral.
