NAS Education and Competency Assurance Officer Des Wade recently joined local ED staff and frontline colleagues from An Garda Síochána and Meath County Fire Service at a road safety event in Navan.

Targeted at 15 - 17 year olds with the aim of reducing road fatalities, the event was organised by Meath County Council and attended by 250 young people, who also heard stories from those who have been experienced loss or trauma from a traffic collision.

Probationer Gavin Kelly, Garda Emmet Masterson and Garda Emmet Heart with Sean Prior, Operations Manager, of Cavan/Monaghan Region National Ambulance Service, at the recent official opening of the Cavan Civil Defence HQ in Cavan town.

Around the country we work closely with colleagues in the emergency, medical, voluntary and search and rescue services. We wish them well in their brand new facility and training centre.
