September is Recovery month.
"Recovery September" refers to National Recovery Month, held annually in September to raise awareness and understanding of mental and substance use disorders and to celebrate the millions of people who are in recovery. The month also aims to promote the message that recovery is possible, visible, and attainable with the right support and treatment. Various events, including recovery walks, pop-up cafes, and community gatherings, are held to celebrate this cause.

Located in a historic home, The Grove was established in 1993 with the aim of treating people with addictions and other related issues.

The centre is located in the picturesque county of Kerry, adjacent to Castleisland town in a pleasant and peaceful environment. It has the feeling of being at home with its comfortable surroundings, pleasant walks and areas for contemplation but with the assurance of privacy and confidentially.

All treatments are broadly based on a combination of the Minnesota Model of Addiction Treatment and the 12 Step Approach originally developed by Alcoholics Anonymous (AA).

Our services are delivered by a team of professionally qualified & highly experienced Addiction Counsellors at our center in Castleisland, the only one of its kind in the South West of Ireland.
