Tonight, we had the pleasure of attending the launch of “The ODYSSEY of a WICKLOW NATIVE” by David Harrington. This inspiring event celebrated not only the author’s remarkable journey but also his generosity — as all proceeds from the book will be donated to Cancer Support services across the county, in conjunction with the East Coast Fm Coffee morning which will be held on April 24th. Our Arklow event will be held at the Arklow Bay Hotel from 10 am to 12 noon.
It was a wonderful evening filled with community spirit, heartfelt stories, and a shared commitment to supporting those affected by cancer. If you have a few spare minutes tomorrow morning please come out and support East Coast Roosters. They are leaving the Arklow Bay Hotel at 10 am heading up main st on their round Ireland trip for Cancer Support. This group has fundraised for most charities in our town over the years. Well done and safe journey. You are also welcome to join us at Arklow cancer support for a cuppa afterwards.
