You can get a free flu vaccine if you are:
-age 60 and older
-age 2 to 17
-a healthcare worker
-pregnant
-living in a nursing home or other long-term care facility
-in regular contact with pigs, poultry or waterfowl
-someone with a health condition that puts you at higher risk of flu
-living with someone who has a health condition that puts them at higher risk of flu
-a carer for someone who has a health condition that puts them at higher risk of flu

You can get a free COVID booster vaccine if you are:

-age 60 and older
-age 18 to 59 living in a long-term care facility
-age 6 months to 59 years with a weak immune system
-age 6 months to 59 years with a condition that puts you at high risk of serious illness from COVID-19
-a healthcare worker
-pregnant - booster doses needed during pregnancy

Eligibility for the free HSE nasal flu vaccine has been extended to all children aged 2-17 years (previously 2-12).
Call us to book an appointment (01) 8352244.

Children age 2 to 12 can get the nasal flu vaccine for free. Some 13 to 17 year olds can get the nasal flu vaccine for free.

GP Visit card extended for children age 6 and 7.

You need to apply online with the HSE for a new under 8s GP visit card if your child turned 6 before 1 July 2023 or if your child is age 7. Their new card will cover free GP care until they are 8.

If your child already has an Under 6 card then this card will remain valid until their 8th birthday

If anyone still needs their Spring COVID Booster, there is a walk-in vaccination centre in Ashbourne OLD Health Centre (beside Credit Union) on Wednesday 14 June, 10am to 4.45pm.
