We were lucky to have a chance to get to see and hold the Liam McCarthy cup at Abbot Close Nursing Home. We watch all the games here and were delighted when Limerick brought the cup home to the county. LimerickGAA Askeaton Gaa

We raised a wonderful amount of money for the The Alzheimer Society of Ireland of €675.00. We would again like to thank everyone who supported us in raising this figure.We presented the cheque to the Alzheimer's day Care Centre in Adare. They were overjoyed with the amount, their service users will benefit greatly from this donation. The Alzheimer Society of Ireland Limerick Branch

The Residents & Staff of our other nursing home in Co.Limerick, Killeline Nursing Home , took a day trip to Co.Kerry yesterday. A Great day was had by all.

Check our our Nursing Home in Co.Galway. Clarenbridge Nursing Home were very busy last week. A fashion show was held in our very own Clarenbridge Nursing Home. Funds were raised for the local national school in Craughwell & Multiple Sclerosis Ireland. Well done to all involved.

At Abbot Close we pride ourselves on our varied and busy Social and Recreational calendar.Our Programmes are led by Pamela the Activities Co-ordinator, all staff are also involved in the activities of our nursing home. This enables us to provide Individualised programmes where staff and residents can interact together. Programes are prepared for each resident taking into account their hobbies and interests. By providing a wide and varied programme calander we aim to achieve a fulfilling and unique homely envioroment here at Abbot Close.
