After a long illness borne with great courage and dignity.
Cypress Gardens, Athlone and formerly of Beechpark West, Athlone, Co. Westmeath,

Ashley passed on Saturday 4th April 2026, in the arms of his loving family and the care of the nursing staff of the Mater Hospital, Dublin.

He will be deeply missed by his wife Mary and daughter Jess, who were the centre of his life.

Predeceased by his parents Toni and Tom.

Sadly missed by his brothers and sisters Joy, Brenda, Philip, David Thomas, Dessie and Nicola. He will be fondly remembered too by his extended family and many good friends.

Reposing at Flynn's Funeral Home, The Strand (N37 WY17) on Wednesday evening from 6pm until 8pm. A service celebrating Ashley's life will take place in the Hodson Bay Hotel (N37 XR82) on Thursday at 1pm.
