We were so proud to welcome Colm Hayes to our recent recruitment campaign launch day 💙

Colm spoke so honestly about the impact carers have on not just the people they support, but on the families around them too. Sharing his own experience of carers visiting his mum a few days each week, highlighting the comfort and reassurance that quality care brings to everyday life.

And, as Colm joked, even if his mum has the house sparkling clean and the tea ready before they arrive, it’s about so much more than practical support.

“It’s still having that company and those few moments, just knowing that there’s somebody there as well.”
