The Bpro Cardio Pulsewave is the latest technology in non invasive cardiovascular screening. The screening shows you the condition of your heart by measuring the central aortic systolic pressure (CASP) - the pressure at the centre of the heart, and measures the flexibility of your arteries for your age. This can help identify cardiovascular risk and provide critical information to detect problems before they become life threatening.
The screening consists of a watch like device simply placed on the wrist. Once in place it reads, calculates and indicates the elasticity of the large, small and peripheral artery walls. It also tests stress, heart rate and more. The screeing takes only 30 minutes to perform and you will recieve a printout of your results and your technician will explain your reading.
This screening is advisable if there is a family history of heart disease or stroke, or if you have any concerns regarding your heart or blood pressure.
