In this activity Olive is supporting children to "anchor" their attention by noticing what they are experiencing through their five senses.

The body, the senses and the breath are always anchored in the now!

When we support children to notice what they can see, hear, smell, touch and taste we are supporting them to connect to the present moment.

Hi everyone,

I hope that you are all well. I am excited to invite you to our upcoming Practice Day Retreat: "The Gift of Meditation Practice, for Ourselves, Our Children, and Our World," taking place on Saturday, the 13th of July, from 11am to 3pm.

During this retreat, we will delve into the gifts that our mindfulness and self'compassion practice brings to our own lives, the lives of our children, and the wider world. In particular, we will explore how to share mindfulness practices with authenticity, integrity, and confidence. 

This retreat is a wonderful opportunity to deepen your practice, connect with like-minded community and enhance your ability to share mindfulness with others.

If you can't attend live you can watch the retreat as a recording and it will be available for one month.

Important: In order to stay on our register of accredited practitioners. All Creative Mindfulness Practitioners need to attend at least one retreat day per year.

I am so very grateful for my very talented and super kind brother John.

John does such a wonderful job recording and editing all of my training videos!

We just finished a really meaningful project for Tusla training 100 Tusla Parenting champions in our Creative Mindfulness Mindful Parenting programme

It is such a joy an honour to facilate such meaningful work in the world and especially to work alongside such kind and supportive people :)

In our "Creative Mindfulness Kids" classes we support children to notice and "take in" the good in themselves and in their lives

We can begin this by pausing with your child, taking a few deep breaths together and then inviting them to notice 3 things they feel thankful for today, perhaps a person, an object, and an experience or something they do!

Pause again, then invite your child to breathe in that feeling of gratitude into their hearts, their hearts like a sponge taking it all in :)

Intvite your child to say a little thank you to themselves and then give themselves a big hug!
