The obvious feeling of accomplishment, while overcoming fear, and achieving personal development, is literally oozing out of these few photos

Here at Arbortec training we do our best to positively encourage people to push their comfort zones in a safe and well structured series of steps
Our "big climb" day during climbing courses tests the bravest of candidates. Always under the watchful eye of one of our instructors, climbers get to put into practice all the skills and knowledge they've learnt over their training
Achieving good mobility and work positioning in trees is the goal, before we introduce tools at height!
This newly qualified climbers future work intention is to climb trees to inspect for bats and other protected species, which is something we are very proud to help facilitate!

We've been exploring some new routes recently for climbing trainees on their "big tree climb" days
These guys smashed it during training, and passed all their assessments afterwards too 👏
Great to see enthusiastic and capable people on our training courses. Much as we pride ourselves in being able to facilitate learning for all candidates in a structured safe manner, this type of work definitely isn't for everyone!

Pole rescue training day is a great way to break up the physicality of a climbing course!

We started introducing these trainees to DRT ascent methods yesterday morning
Everyone achieved their top anchor on two rope systems in separate trees by lunchtime!
Which is great progress after an unseasonable stormy start to the week (thanks to Floris!)
