Huge thanks to Sargent Darren Farrelly from the Community Engagement Unit in Balbriggan Garda Station and in conjunction with Dublin Fire Brigade who visited our Shed this morning to distribute new Smoke Alarms for our members. Always remember on a monthly basis to check that your own alarm is active.
Much appreciated Sargent Farrelly

Good piece in the Fingal Independent about Balbriggan Men Shed this week.

Anybody interested in seeing what we are up, why not drop in this week. We will be open Tuesday & Wednesday from 10 - 1pm. Ladies, if you want rid of your hubby for a few hours, drop him off at the shed and we’ll keep an eye on him😀😀.

The Men's Shed movement provides a unique place for older men to gather and work on craft projects and provides a welcome social outlet for men away from the traditional pub or golf club setting.

Hi there, it’s been a while since we last posted. Due to COVID we’ve been closed for nearly 12 months, but we’re now planning to get back up and running.

In the next week or so, we are looking to open Tues & Wed 10-12:30, and work up to Tue-Thurs and Sat over the coming weeks.

Below is a couple of pictures of our next project. We are looking to create a garden with some raised flower beds, seating area and lay some fake grass for a bowling area.

We’re looking to see if there are any men who would like to get involved with us. We’re always looking for new members.

We’re located behind St Peter & Pauls Church, go to the right of the church and at the end turn right and you’ll see us.

Let us know in the comments if you’re interested and we’ll confirm when we’re ready to start.

The IMSA aims to make it as easy as possible for any like-minded group of men in Ireland to set up, run and maintain a men’s shed. A ‘men’s shed’ is a community based project, where men can come together to learn, share skills and make long-lasting friendships together.
