Ever think the hardest part of yoga is the poses?

Or the breathing?

Truth is… it’s none of that.

The hardest part is actually showing up.

🏠Leaving the house.
👣Walking into a room of people you don’t know.
📺Choosing movement over the Netflix & cuppa temptation.

That takes more courage then touching your toes!

That’s why your why is so important.

Why do you practice?
Movement, calm, flexibility, headspace, community?

My why is simple: when I move, I feel good.
That good energy makes me a better mam, friend, sister, partner.

🍂 AUMTUMN 🍂

It has a way of quietly telling us to slow down. The days get cooler, the light softens, and nature starts letting go of what’s no longer needed. It’s a good reminder that we can do the same.

This workshop is all about pressing pause and giving yourself space to reset before the months ahead.

We’ll start with a guided meditation inspired by the feel of autumn, a chance to land in the moment and notice how you’re feeling right now. Gentle breathwork will help you release the day, and we’ll follow it with some soft, easy stretches to ease out any tightness in the body so you can really settle in.

From there, we’ll take time for guided journaling, giving you space to reflect on what you’re ready to put down and what you’d like to carry forward into the quieter months ahead.

We’ll then move into a slow yin practice, holding postures that release tension and leave you feeling grounded. I’ll weave in short pieces of poetry along the way to bring in the mood of the season.

To close, you’ll rest in a restorative pose with gentle hands-on assists and acupressure to help you fully let go, followed by a calming yoga nidra, the perfect way to leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more centred.

A couple of hours to breathe, move gently, and reset, a seasonal pitstop for your body and mind.

🍂WILD ROOTS DAY RETREAT 🍂

Saturday 11th October | 10:00am – 4:30pm
Kennedy Glasgow Centre

If you’ve been feeling stuck in old patterns, caught up in constant go-go mode, or just know you need a reset, this day retreat is for you.

Roots Wellness and Niamh Ryan have created a day that’s all about slowing down, clearing space, and reconnecting with yourself. Through a combination of movement, stillness, and reflection, we’ll gently guide you from releasing what no longer serves you into welcoming fresh energy, clarity, and balance.

The morning will ease us in with grounding practices, yoga flow, and breathwork to shake off old stagnant energy and bring a sense of lightness. We’ll use sound, journaling, and simple tools to help you notice what’s been sitting beneath the surface and start to let it go.

In the afternoon, we’ll shift into renewal and reset. With practices to calm the nervous system, sound healing, and restorative yoga, you’ll be supported in finding rest and spaciousness. We’ll finish the day with yoga nidra and grounding rituals to leave you feeling clear, nourished, and recharged.

Throughout the day you’ll enjoy:
✨ A wholesome, nourishing lunch
✨ Tea breaks and space to connect with others
✨ A thoughtfully curated goodie bag to take home

This is your invitation to step away from the rush, come back to yourself, and plant new roots for the season ahead.

Ah lads, I don't event know what to say! An incredible few days with my mammy crew to chill and reset. Good company, good chats, amazing food, a few cocktails and just absolute peace and quiet!

No schedule, nowhere to be, no rushing, no "mam, mam, mam"

Thank you so much for joining me all summer, for all of your support during the ups and downs 🩷 I hope myself and our teachers brought you some joy, calm, rest and glimmers xx

We are back with new terms from the 15th September and I can't wait to come back super refreshed and ready to bring the zen back. Drop in bookings will open this evening for the term.

In the mean time, don't forget you can keep moving with the ondemand yoga section in momence 🧘🏼‍♀️

A yoga class designed for men that blends Vinyasa flow, mobility drills, and long pose holds offers a comprehensive approach to strength, flexibility, and mental focus.

In this class, you’ll start with some easy movements to get your body warmed up and ready. Expect a mix of stretches and mobility drills that loosen up tight spots, especially in areas like your hips and shoulders.

Then, you'll dive into the main part of the class, where you'll move through a series of poses in a smooth, flowing sequence. The focus is on syncing your breath with your movements, creating a rhythm that’s challenging but also kind of meditative.

The class concludes with a cool-down phase that includes gentle stretching and possibly some Yin-inspired long holds, targeting deeper connective tissues to prepare the body for Savasana (Co**se Pose), where you will lie down and focus on deep relaxation, allowing the body to absorb the benefits of the practice.

This type of class is ideal for men looking to improve their physical fitness while also developing greater body awareness and mental discipline. It’s challenging yet accessible, catering to both beginners and experienced Yogis.

Join our 6-Week Beginner Yoga Program with Niamh, a workshop style course where you’ll get the personalized guidance of 1:1 attention, but in a supportive group setting.

Over six weeks, we’ll build your strength, flexibility, and confidence while introducing key poses, breathwork, and the fundamentals of yoga philosophy.

Week by week, you will:

Learn foundational poses and proper alignment

Connect breath with movement

Build core strength and flexibility

Flow through Sun Salutations and beginner Vinyasa sequences

Gain the tools to practice at home or feel confident in any class

This is a progressive program, drop-ins are not available, so you’ll get the full benefit of each week building on the last.

By the end, you’ll leave with the confidence, knowledge, and mindfulness to enjoy yoga fully, body, mind, and soul. 🧘‍♀️
