Small Business Saturday is a campaign spearheaded by Local Enterprise Office Mayo that aims to encourage shoppers to consciously choose to shop in their local area on a specific day (29th November 2025).

It draws inspiration from the success of “Black Friday” sales, in that it fixes a specific day, early in the Christmas shopping season, and builds energy around shopping locally on that specific day.

Small Business Saturday encourages consumers to shop in their local area, browse smaller shops, support the local economy and shop consciously.

Please support local jobs and small business this Christmas.
