Hi everyone, just wanted to explain why I'm not as available for work right now.

Recruiting a support worker for my disabled daughter has been incredibly challenging, and it’s taken up a lot of time and energy. If anyone knows someone who might be interested in this meaningful role, I’d be so grateful to hear from you.

I'm truly grateful for all the interest in Craniosacral therapy—it means so much. However, I want to be upfront that I won’t be able to accommodate everyone who’s reached out before the end of the summer holidays. I'm really sorry for any disappointment. 💛

You gently maneuvered her in a way that it was as if she was going through the birth canal. It was amazing to watch what you did with her. She slept all the way home and seemed so more more settled and rested, her body seemed to stretch out and she was lying flat on the bed which she hadn't done since birth. You are an amazing person Grainne. Thank you for your great help when my girl was young, she is now 12 and doing really great! "

Hope everyone enjoying the beautiful spring weather. Amazing how it lifts people up! Well, the new room is working well (I think) and many thanks again for all the good wishes and support you kindly put my way.

Just a few things to note before you book a session. I'm not set up for card payments, Revolute, PayPal etc. I can give bank details if people prefer to pay that way.

It's just my policy not to work on babes who have been vaccinated, so keep that in mind. 10-14 days after vaccination for a session.

My time is so very limited , I only have a carer two days a week since Oct last. I can work every second Wed afternoons and evenings. Also every second Sat morning. So would appreciate if you let me know if you have to cancel as soon as you know.

Lastly, some new clients, mostly mums want to know what Craniosacral therapy is. I always try to explain before a session, but I find the mammies/daddies are better at doing this. So, if any of you have a story about your experience here , the hard bits, the good bits, any results I'd appreciate if you could email me your story which will go up on this page for new parents to read. The new room is to the side of my house. It has a bathroom next to it. Unfortunately I do not have a waiting room, so I will text you when I'm ready for your session while you wait in car. My hours for working will be severely curtailed indefinitely. As a lot of you know I have a daughter who needs 24hr care 7 days a week. She gets a day service (mornings) from Western Care Assoc. One of my carers is leaving, and normally that wouldn't be a problem, except Western Care are unable to recruit new staff. Since recession in 2008 section 39 workers have never recovered their paygrades , while Staff in the HSE are at full entitlement. All staff in both Western Care and HSE do the same work. HSE recruit people easier because of better pay. So section 39 workers are going on strike on the 17th Oct, indefinitely. You may not have heard the term section 39 before, but pay parity is non existent for them, therefore impacting not just on the workers but on the parents who depend on their service. It will now impact on you because I won't have hours to work on your babes. I regret this, but not of my making. Whatever limited hours I have I will try to respond. Perhaps support the section 39 workers also, let your local TD's know the wide impact this disparity of pay is having.
