When one thinks of pharmacy, it’s usually to do with dispensing medicines and giving advice to patients. We at Molloys believe that we do that and more, our motto is “Love Your Health”. One of the key areas we are keen to promote is our health food store where we stock a wide variety of herbal and complementary medicine. All our key staff are highly trained. By combining the knowledge of our pharmacists with that of our health staff our advice helps patients become nutritionally strong during illness which helps in recovery and promoting awareness about health. A key aspect about Molloys is its passion for health and lifestyle. Our sports department covers the casual jogger to the elite athlete. We deal in carbohydrate loading, protein recovery and electrolyte re-balancing to keep an athlete in top shape.

Love Your Health

Molloys Pharmacies and Health Food Stores are a family owned business located in the West of Ireland and have been serving communities, individuals and families for over 50 years. The first Molloys Pharmacy opened in Ballina, Co. Mayo in 1958 and while a lot has changed since then, our core belief remains the same; that you our customer is at the heart of everything we do and we want everyone to live life to the full and ‘love their health’.

James and Martina Geraghty have since expanded the group to include 7 stores throughout Mayo, Roscommon and Galway employing over 100 people from the localities we serve. Our team of healthcare professionals and health experts are passionate about service and ensure each customer is looked after in a caring, confidential and professional manner. Your individual needs are at the heart of what we do!

At Molloys we don’t just provide essential pharmacy dispensing and medicinal services, we also believe that pharmacy can play a huge role in nutritional health, general well-being and lifestyle. This is why we have used our knowledge and expertise to develop our own range of nutritional supplements ‘Benevits’ & ‘Nutri Sci’ to help customers achieve their personal goals. This gives you our customer more choice in addition to a wide range of market leading and locally sourced health, complimentary and sports vitamins we stock.
