Struggling with Heel Pain?

And no…
rolling your foot on a ball while trying to find something to watch on Netflix probably isn’t fixing it either.

Neither is buying your 14th pair of runners like you’re collecting them for a museum.

Most people bounce between:

* temporary relief
* random stretches
* new shoes
* resting for a few days

…but the pain keeps coming back.

Because the actual problem usually hasn’t changed.

That’s why my top 3 tips are:
✅ stretch the calves
✅ wear proper footwear
✅ stop pretending it’s going to magically disappear on its own

Plantar fasciitis usually improves when the body becomes stronger and better at handling load again.

Not from another quick fix.

Nobody cares about your back pain anymore.

Harsh?

Maybe.

But after weeks… months… sometimes years of saying:
“My back is sore…”

People stop listening.

Not because they’re bad people.

Because pain becomes your normal.

And that’s usually when people realise:
👉 rest isn’t fixing it
👉 stretching randomly isn’t fixing it
👉 another massage isn’t fixing it

At some point, the body needs:
Strength
Movement
Consistency
And an actual plan

Not another temporary quick fix.

That’s exactly why so many people finally start Pilates and rehab in the first place.

“Sure Pilates is just stretching…”

That’s usually what people say before they actually try it.

Then suddenly:
Legs shaking
Core burning
Sweating after 30 seconds

Done properly, reformer Pilates challenges:
Strength
Mobility
Flexibility
Movement quality

Which is exactly why so many people start feeling and moving better after it.

And no — you definitely do not need to be “good at Pilates” before starting.

Most people don’t actually want rehab.

They want:
One stretch.
One massage.
One crack.
One magic exercise.

Something that fixes years of back pain instantly.

But the body usually doesn’t work like that.

Long-term pain normally needs:
Consistency
Strength
Movement
And an actual plan

Not another temporary quick fix.

That’s why so many people stay stuck in the same cycle for years.

“Sure Pilates is easy…”

That’s usually what people say before they actually try it.

Then suddenly:
Legs shaking
Core burning
Sweating after 30 seconds

Most people don’t realise how stiff, weak, and disconnected their body actually feels…

Until Pilates exposes it.

Done properly, reformer Pilates isn’t just stretching.

It challenges:
Strength
Mobility
Flexibility
Movement quality

And honestly…

That’s exactly why so many people start feeling better after it.

You don’t need to be good at Pilates to start.

You probably just need to start.

13/05/2026

You keep saying you’re going to start Pilates…

Meanwhile:
Your back’s getting tighter.
Your hips are getting stiffer.
Your body’s getting weaker.
And everything feels harder than it used to.

Most people wait until they’re really struggling before they finally decide to do something about it.

The body adapts to how you treat it.

Move less… it becomes less capable.

Move better… and things start changing quickly.

You don’t need to be fit to start.

You just need to start.

12/05/2026

“You’re not too stiff for Pilates.”

That’s usually the exact reason people start.

Most people think they need to be fitter, stronger, or more flexible before joining.

You don’t.

That’s why we have different levels tailored to where you’re currently at.

You start where you are — and build from there.

10/05/2026

“If rest was going to fix it… it would’ve by now.”

Most people with pain do the same thing:
Rest it.
Avoid movement.
Wait for it to settle.

And sometimes that works.

But when the pain keeps coming back, or never fully settles, the problem usually isn’t that you’ve moved too much.

It’s that your body has stopped tolerating movement properly.

The goal isn’t avoiding movement forever.

The goal is getting your body back doing what it’s supposed to do again.

09/05/2026

“You probably don’t need another injection…”

😅 I said it.

Now before people lose the head…

Injections absolutely have their place and can help some people massively.

But what we see all the time is people stuck in the same cycle:

Pain flares up
Injection
Feels better for a while
Stops moving
Pain comes back

Because pain relief alone doesn’t rebuild the body.

At some point, the body needs to become more capable again.

That means:
✅ Strength
✅ Mobility
✅ Structure
✅ Consistency

Not just another temporary reset.

The goal shouldn’t just be short-term relief.

It should be long-term change

“Your MRI showed a disc bulge…”

Okay.

Now what?

Most people read a scan report and immediately think:
❌ “My back is damaged”
❌ “I’ll always have this”
❌ “I need surgery”

But many MRI findings:
Disc bulges
Wear and tear
Degeneration

…also show up in people with ZERO pain.

That’s why scans alone don’t tell the full story.

The real question is:
👉 What’s actually driving your symptoms?

Because in many cases, the problem is:

Weakness
Stiffness
Deconditioning
Lack of movement

Not just what the scan says.

Treat the person.
Not just the MRI report 👌

Muscle spasm can feel brutal when it hits.

Most people do one of two things:
❌ Panic
❌ Stop moving completely

Usually… both make it worse.

Here are 3 things that actually help:

✅ Heat instead of ice
✅ Little and often movement
✅ Reassurance and staying calm

In my experience, muscle spasms can settle quite quickly when you do the right things early.

The key isn’t doing nothing.

It’s doing the right things… consistently.

Save this for the next time your back decides to throw a tantrum or send it to a mate who always has spasms👌
