🌟 Bealtaine Celebration at Friars Lodge 🌟
On May 16th, we celebrated the arts in nursing homes with a joyful event, proudly supported by a €1000 grant from Age & Opportunity and Nursing Homes Ireland, the top prize for 2025! 🎉
Our residents showcased their beautiful work from the Printing Art Workshops, and enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with tea, scones, music, dancing, and ice cream shared with family and friends.
A big thank you to Ballinrobe’s Men's Shed Musicians, Ballinrobe Ukulele Group, and Bright Beginnings After School with Frank Keane and Shane McGrath. The children from the afterschool group also treated us to some fantastic Irish dancing, which brought great joy to everyone! 💃🎶

At Friars Lodge Nursing Home, residents enjoyed a month full of festive fun! The Halloween party brought plenty of thrills, while musical performances on a separate day filled the air with joy. With many other activities throughout, it was a truly memorable time for all !! 🎃😊

Our residents have been loving the vibrant activities, from lively music events to our cherished weekly mass, and a special visit from Morley's Garden Centre, who brought adorable pygmy goats to meet everyone. A huge thank you to all who have supported us! We can’t wait for our upcoming Halloween party – stay tuned for spooky fun! 👻✨
