As a qualified Counsellor, Psychotherapist, & Art Psychotherapist, & Counselling Supervisor (MSc, BA Hons, Dip), my classes focus on building confidence, connection, & trust in one’s own creativity where every child feels seen & supported. 🎨 About the Tutor
With a lifelong passion for creativity and emotional growth, I’ve had the privilege of helping children and teens discover the joy of self-expression through art. As an experienced Art Tutor and Creative Art Psychotherapist, I’ve spent years guiding young people to build confidence, resilience, and trust in their own imagination one brushstroke at a time. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art (First Class Honours, GPA 3.98/4.0), a Diploma in Counselling and Art Psychotherapy (First Class Honours), a BA (Hons) in Counselling, Psychotherapy, and Art Therapy (First Class Honours), and a Master of Science in Creative Arts Psychotherapy (First Class Honours). Drawing on my background in counselling, psychotherapy, and creative arts therapy, my art classes are designed to be welcoming, supportive spaces where every child feels free to explore, make mistakes, and find their unique creative voice. Whether sketching, painting, or experimenting with new materials, students are encouraged to express themselves in a way that feels natural and empowering. Over the years, I’ve seen how creativity can nurture not only artistic skill but also emotional confidence and social connection. Many students begin shy and uncertain, but as they learn to trust their abilities, their personalities blossom. Friendships form, laughter fills the room, and each child begins to see that their creativity and their self-worth matters. My approach combines professional art instruction with a deep understanding of how creativity supports wellbeing. Every class is about more than art; it’s about believing in yourself, celebrating individuality, and finding joy in the creative journey. For class details and enrolment: 085 100 0874
