The death has occurred of Mark Fields

Late of Drumboe Lower & The Grove, Stranorlar, Co. Donegal.

Peacefully at The Donegal Hospice under the care of the wonderful staff and surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved father to Andrew (Chantel), Francis, Marcus, loving son to June, brother to Deborah, Grace and Jane, Grandfather to Darragh, Croía, Hailey, Margo and Maud and uncle to Louis.

Sadly missed by his son, mother, sisters. Predeceased by his father Fran.

A celebration of Mark’s life will take place at McGowan’s Funeral Home, Drumboe Avenue at 11 am followed by a private cremation at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

The death has occurred of Jacqueline Watson (nee McCafferty)

Late of Elmcastle Green, Kilnamanagh, Dublin 24 and formerly Drumboe Avenue, Stranorlar, Co. Donegal.

Peacefully at home following a long illness.

Beloved wife of Neil for 58 years, loving mother of Nigel and Lucinda, cherished granny to Craig and Imogen. Sadly missed by her daughter in law Niamh and son in law Ivor. Predeceased by her parents Jock and Bridie and her brother Cormac. Dear sister to Fergus, Mary, Ann, Fionnuala and Louise.

Reposing at family home in Elmcastle Green from 5 pm until Rosary at 9 pm.

Tuesday 2nd September
Reposing at the home of her sister and brother in law Ann & Leon McGranaghan, Drumboe Avenue Stranorlar from 4 pm until Rosary at 9 pm.

Wednesday 3rd September
Reposing at the home of her sister and brother in law Ann & Leon McGranaghan, Drumboe Avenue Stranorlar from 4 pm until Rosary at 9 pm.

Thursday 4th September
Leaving the family home at Drumboe Avenue at 10.40 for mass of the resurrection at 11 a.m., at Church of Mary Immaculate, Main St., Stranorlar, The funeral mass can be viewed on the parish we**am on the following link https://www.churchservices.tv/stranorlar

Jacqueline will be laid to rest in the family plot at Drumboe Cemetery, Stranorlar.

The death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital peacefully of Francie Kelly Trusk, Ballybofey, Co. Donegal, F93 NP7W.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Máire, adored father to his daughters, Diane, Pamela (Philip), Charlene (Thomas) and his only son Francis (Siobhan). Forever loved by his grandchildren Ava-Rose, Ryan, Thomas & Darragh. His sisters Rose (Frank) & Ann and his brother in laws Joseph and Padraig (Liz) and his nieces, nephews, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Pre-deceased by his parents Charlie and Mary.

Francie will repose at his home today Monday 3rd February from 6pm. Due to the limited parking, a shuttle bus will be in operation from 6 p.m. on Monday and 3 p.m. on Tuesday from the carpark at Sessiaghoneill Chapel.

Requiem Mass in St Mary's Sessiaghoneill on Wednesday 5th February at 11 am with burial afterwards in the adjoining Churchyard. Rosary both nights at 9 p.m. with family time from 11 p.m. until 11 a.m. each day and on the morning of the funeral please.

We would like to acknowledge the trojan work the Stranorlar Roads workers from Donegal County Council has done over the past few days in gritting the roads to enable wakes and funerals to take place under very difficult conditions.

Great credit and thanks to each and everyone involved, it's greatly appreciated by all who have benefited from it. 👏 👏 👏

The death has taken place of John Antony Quinn, Curragahamone, Ballybofey, Peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

Loving brother to Michael, Kevin, Martha (Dowden), Cassie (McCay), brother in law to Mary Rose, Rita, Mary and Norma Quinn, Matthew McCay, Edmund Dowden and Dan McGlynn.

Deeply regretted by his brothers, sisters, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Pre deceased by his parents Peter an Margaret and also the late Peter, Patsy, Patrick James, Kevin Michael, Kevin M.C, Mary Rose Quinn and Maggie McGlynn (nee Quinn).

Wake private to close family and friends.

John’s remains will be reposing at his late residence today Tuesday from 7 pm to 10 pm and tomorrow Wednesday from 2pm to 10pm, all other times private including the morning of the funeral.

Mass of the resurrection on Thursday 9th January at 11 am at Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar and burial afterwards in Drumboe Cemetery. The funeral cortege will make its way to the Church via Drumboe, McKanes Corner and down Main Street Stranorlar.

Flowers welcome, donations in lieu of flowers if so desired to Friends of Letterkenny University Hospital c/o Martin McGowan Funeral Director or any family member.
