After a lovely Christmas holiday in the sunshine, which I feel refreshed and recharged. Ready to walk in 2025 full of gratitude and a better year ahead for us all 🕉️🦋🙌

As we welcome December in, let us find moments in this month to sit and be still and reflect on the year gone past. Let go what you need to from this year and move into the next 12 months with all the good of 2024. A beautiful poem to welcome in December.

come on in with your lights your music
your promise of joy let your festive graces warm our weary hearts and remind us what matters each other
be kind to those
who find your light too bright let them see that hope lives in every card and invitation and for gifts give them memories old and new
and show them what to do with all that love

As we welcome November, here is a poem by my favourite author.

WELCOME NOVEMBER…

There is something about November that says ‘keep going’. We are not quite through the year, yet the finish-line looms. We are plunged into darkness by Mother Nature. We are faced with the ‘season of joy’ and yet many of us wonder where we will find it.
And I think November is a great time to take a little peek behind you, and see just how much you’ve done.
To take stock of your achievements, your endurance, your survival.
To rest, reinforce, before the festivities envelope us all.
Before beautiful new beginnings.
And most importantly, November is a time to seek out light. As the natural order darkens, we must find it ourselves. We must do whatever we can to brighten our day,
our home, the world.
Seek out light wherever you can my friends,
and pay no heed to those who condemn your sparkle.
You are much-needed.
Keep showing up, in that special way only you can do. And show up for yourself too
(which can sometimes mean not showing up at all).
This year has been hard.
Again.
But beautiful.
Again.
As is the way of life.
As is the way of life.

Today is World Menopause Day and for all the women who are out there suffering, this is the message from Donna Ashworth for all the beautiful women out there.

A NEW VERSION OF YOU

In times when you do not feel like your old self
I think it is because you are not

you are metamorphosising
on the move again
shifting

a new version of you is coming
to accept the baton from the old

you are changing guard
but unlike the ceremonial soldiers
this doesn’t happen swiftly

it’s more like a butterfly emerging from a cocoon
having dissolved to a pile of goo and sticky residue
ready to reform, ready to break through the shell
you built yourself, without even realising

you feel your wings tapping at the surface
itching to unfurl but not yet sure of their strength

but something in your soul is reminding you
that the only way to know
if these wings are ready to hold your weight
is to go to the edge and fly

put faith in your process, in nature’s process

a time of change is coming for you
and so whilst you make the final tweaks
to this next version

take a moment to look at the old ones
talk to them, forgive them, apologise to them
put them at peace
remind them
they were exactly the yous they were supposed to be then
so you could be the you you are today
and the you you will be tomorrow

remind them we will see many more versions of us
before the final one gathers you all
in her wise and loving arms

and takes you home

Today is World Teachers day and I'm so very proud to have been taught by some great teachers and now work with so many amazing teachers. In recognition of this day, here is another beautiful poem by Donna Ashworth Have an amazing day to all the teachers out there, whatever you teach.

A GREAT TEACHER
A great teacher is a human with a soft heart, who bravely commits to letting hundreds of even softer hearts into theirs, to be held safe.
A great teacher is a watering can, daily nursing seeds so vulnerable, they can never quite begin to stop scanning the sky for hawks and lightning.
A great teacher keeps their garden safe and secure but also a little wild and free, teaching those seeds to bloom in any soil no matter the surrounding and reminding them they are not crop, they are all the flowers this earth
proudly hosts

A great teacher sleeps with little faces on their minds and delicate self-worths nestling safely in their soul.
A great teacher sprinkles this world with their magic as the children they teach rise up and fly so far.
And does all of this around their own life. If you know a teacher like this, water their soil sometimes too. They give their own away so freely.

A beautiful poem from a beautiful author. In just a couple of days on October 2nd we have a potent New Moon Solar Eclipse. Being in Libra this will all be about balance and harmony. During this new moon find Balance, Harmony & Tranquility in your life, give yourself to only healthy relationships. Know that Peace and Love are at the core of your very being. New Moons are also a time of letting go. If you feel the lacking or the connection isnt the same, it maybe time to let it go & move on. It will be ok. The solar eclipse will add some more powerful energy into the mix.

HELLO OCTOBER
THE SEASON OF LETTING GO
And so begins the season of letting go,
when Mother Nature shows us all, how it's done.
Let go, free yourself, shake it off, drop it,
give way for the new.
Create space for new thoughts, new ideas,
new adventures and new connections,
by shedding the dead weight you've been carrying around, for so long.
And whilst you are there, being reborn and renewed,

let go of old anxieties too.
Let go of any doubts, fears or beliefs which no longer serve you well.
Release bitterness or past hurts which feast on your beauty.
Be brave,
Don't fear the nakedness as your leaves slip away.
Mother Nature doesn't, watch and learn.
