AHH.. classic St Patrick's day atmospheres ! A little grey sky! Soft drizzle! Smells/ aromas of whiskey .. Guinness .. bacon and cabbage.. and that special jelly dessert .. green white and gold! .and that smell of rain..it has a name petrichor..earthy ..fresh ..when the rain touches dry ground ..calming and nostalgic!
Parade memories! Standing in the rain and being WET !!! All part of St Patrick's day in Ireland We don't need to turn anything 💚!!WE have the RAIN!!

Most days my Mam would dab a little of 4711 onto her hankie, and tuck it up her sleeve. Such a small ordinary ritual-but it was pure comfort . On special occasions, the elegance of Chanel NO. 5 was brought out. Sunday's , celebrations, family gatherings.
I never realised that these simple rituals were shaping me. But they did. My love of Aroma/fragrance and therapy all began with her💜
