You don’t have to do it all alone. 🤍
We weren’t meant to be islands — we were meant to be held, supported, and seen.

Needing help doesn’t make you weak. It makes you human.
Let people show up for you. Let yourself be cared for.

Your needs aren’t too much — they’re reminders that connection is sacred. 🌿

When we untangle these beliefs we empower ourselves to build healthier connections:

Love is with boundaries, not attempts to manipulate through setting unpredictable conditions.
Our healing is our responsibility.
Our needs are valid.
We are inherently worthy of love.
Asking for help is in safe relationships will be met with respect.

My book, Was It Even Abuse?, supports you in gaining clarity and growth after covert abuse. You can order it now or find out more info via the links in my bio 💜

To understand how bullying can distort someone’s sense of self, it’s essential to recognise that bullying often originates from the insecurities of the bully. Individuals who engage in bullying behaviour are frequently battling their demons – whether from previous trauma, internalised shame, or, quite often, having been bullied themselves.
