BYRON, Owen (Owenie)

(Derreen, Ballinagare, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon and late of Falmore, Ballinagare). November 2nd, 2025 (peacefully) - on all Souls day, after a short illness, surrounded by his family at Sligo University Hospital.

Predeceased by his parents Pat and Mary, his sister Rose and brother-in-law Jack. He will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his sister Mary (Crennan, Dublin), brother-in-law Tommy, nephews Padraig, Hughie, TJ, Paul and Enda, nieces Rosemary, Suzanne and Fionnuala, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, cousins, relatives and many friends.

Owenie will lie in repose in The Gibbons Funeral Home Ballinagare, Wednesday evening from 6 o'clock with removal at 7:45 o'c to the Church of the Sacred Heart Ballinagare arriving at 8 o'clock.

FLANAGAN - Martin Joseph.

(Arraghan, Ballinagare, Castlerea, Co. Roscommon, Manchester and Inis Oรญrr, Aran Islands) June 27th, 2025 - (unexpectedly but peacefully) surrounded by his loving family at Salford Royal Hospital Manchester after an illness borne with great dignity and courage.

Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Mary Kate, his sisters Marcella and Christina, nephew Stephen, sister-in-law Carol and brother-in-law Stephen. He will be very sadly missed and remembered with love by his heartbroken wife Nora Teresa, his children Ann Marie, Marcella, Thomas and Bernadette, sons-in-law Tomรกs, Pรกdraig and ร‰anna, his adored grandchildren Morgan Joseph, Tomรกs, ร‰anna, Jospeh Gerard, Seรกn Martin and Anna Teresa, his brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, cousins and a large circle of friends.

Martin will lie in repose in The Gibbons Funeral Home Ballinagare Wednesday evening from 6:30 o'c with removal at 7:45 o'c to the Church of the Sacred Heart Ballinagare for Mass at 8 o'clock

Martins funeral will then proceed on Thursday morning to Sรฉipeal Naomh Muire, Inis Oรญrr, Aran Islands, Co. Galway via Plane at 3pm from Aer Arran, Inverin, Co. Galway.

Mass of the Resurrection Friday afternoon at 12:30 with burial afterwards in Tempall Chaomhain.
