We have another sunny few days forecast so need to keep an eye on the UV Index to make sure we’re taking the necessary precautions to prevent sun damage. And this is obviously even more important if you’re on holidays somewhere even sunnier!

🩸 Donors do a Bloody Good Job!

1 in 4 of us will need a blood transfusion at some point in our lives. And yet only 3% of eligible donors in Ireland actually give blood. That’s according to the Irish Blood Transfusion Service. With approximately 1000 blood transfusions needed every week in Ireland, we’d like to say a big THANK YOU today, on World Blood Donor Day, to all those who give blood regularly.
