We all have a life story; it's part of what makes us who we are. Our story makes us unique while simultaneously uniting us with others. When we think of our story, we think of a series of events that make up our life. Our childhood, our teen years, our early adult years right up to the now. We see life as a list of what we have seen, heard and felt.

Think about your life story; how would you tell it to me now? What would you include in your story?

Your story is much more than a chronological list of experiences and achievements. Your life story is all the mini-stories that create your life themes, the characters you and others play, the plots that unfold for you, and so much more.

These mini-stories and the meaning you give them creates your beliefs about yourself and the world around you. These stories shape your perception of reality, the people in it and why things do or don't work out for you.

Often people don't forgive because they think it means that they are ok-ing someone else's behaviour.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The two are completely separate. You can forgive someone and think that the behaviour was not ok.

Forgiveness is loosens the hold wrongdoings on you. It's a release, a softening and an energetic shift.

I think every woman deserves to be seen for who SHE is.

Not the manufactured and conditioned version that we are led to believe that we SHOULD be. But the person YOU were born to be.

Have you ever felt like you're doing all the right things - meditating, working out, journalling, eating healthy, and yet there seems to be a gap. A hole. A space that doesn't make sense.

What if I told you, that the thing that you are missing is actually your superpower, you just need to understand it more.

Yesterday, I did a Human Design reading for a very beautiful soul, and I wanted to share what she voice messaged me this morning.

"I just woke up and I feel so empowered and in myself, I feel the most myself that I have felt in probably 4 years.
I was laughing to myself, just baffled, because all these things in the reading I have always felt this way, I have always thought this way and when I have expressed it with others they make me feel like Im crazy and I just feel so understood right now.
I feel so powerful, I feel like if I walked into a room right now I would have my full confidence, like there's a forcefield around me pushing anyone who doubts me away
I just wanted to thank you, I am really excited for another deeper chart reading.
I feel like everything I thought and felt throughout my life I can now embrace as my true power and potential. My true path
I just feel very happy."

LET GO OF THE PAST HURT SO YOU CAN OPEN YOURSELF UP TO RECEIVE LOVE.

Past relationships have a way of lingering around in our minds, stinking up our present and wrecking havoc on our future potential.

How rude...!

If you've been in toxic relationships, whether they're romantic, family, work, friendships.... or whatever. Letting go of the hurt from the relationships helps you become more RECEPTIVE.

Everyone says healing from the past is HARD. But it can also be EASY, if you are open to trying something different.

1. Cord Cutting
Cord cutting is one of the easiest ways of forgiving someone else. It's cutting ties with the pain and allowing it to fade out of your life. You can also use it to forgive mistakes that you made by visualising past versions of you.

2. Ho'oponono
All forgiveness is self-forgiveness. Own your part in your relationships. Acknowledge the role you played. And then send yourself forgiveness. These four sentences are hugely impactful, especially when you visualise yourself (or anyone else) sitting across from you.

3. GET ANGRY (My favourite)
Anger is a normal feeling. I'm not into positive feelings only, that's how people end up stuck and repeating patterns. If you don't work through the anger, you won't free yourself from it. I love metal music, so RAGE DANCING comes easily to me. If you aren't a metal head, stick on Bad Blood by Taylor Swift and just dance your arse off. Throw punches, hit pillows, jump around, head bang, shout, scream. Keep it going for one or two songs.

You will be surprised how good you feel after it. If you need some music inspo... DM me, I've got tons!

4. Tap it out.
I am a huge fan of Tapping (Emotional Freedom Technique). You tap your merdidans or energy points and talk through your pain or issues. Super effective and very impactful. This is a tool that I teach all of my clients. You can find youtube videos by that will help. Or if you want a hand creating your own recipe DM and I will voicenote you some ideas.

Slow down and everything you are chasing will come around and catch you.

Last week, I had no choice but to slow down. I was sick, my body was tired. And I needed rest.

(Thank you to all my gorgeous client's who let me reschedule their appointments last minute. I love you. xx)

I achieved more in my week of rest, watching F is for Family on Netflix, than I had in the previous two months.

Slowing down and resting is just as important as constantly doing.

If we're always racing from moment to moment, then what happens to being present? Being constantly on the go is living in our masculine energy.

When we allow ourselves to tap into our feminine energy we become present, inspired, creative, fun. We allow for healing. We allow for solutions to our problems to appear.

A little about me...

Hi, I’m Christina, nice to meet you!

I am an Offaly based yoga teacher and a Dublin based Communications Manager. I have been practising yoga since I was in Uni. I began using yoga for injury management and stress relief, starting with restorative yoga. It was only when I moved to Australia in 2010 that I started practising Power Yoga and Yin.

I have been teaching yoga since 2014, starting in a small physio clinic in North Sydney, creating my own rooftop classes in Bondi Beach as well as teaching in studios. I later moved to Brisbane and was teaching in two beautiful studios. I am back in Ireland since October 2017, teaching classes in Offaly, check out the classes page!

My objective is to inspire students to improve their wellness through the practice of yoga, encouraging a mind-body connection with a focus on the intuitive self and physical potential. I have been so privileged to attend workshops from some of the most influential yogi’s such as Duncan Peak, Meghan Currie, Amy Impolotti and Kino McGregor, to name but a few.
