Most people put it down to age and leave it at that. But stiffness is largely a movement problem, not an age problem.

When the body isn't moving regularly, joints produce less of the fluid that keeps them lubricated. Muscles tighten up. The body adapts to being still.

The good news - it adapts the other way just as easily.

A big well done to Brian for coming out on top in our January challenge 👏

One thing we always try to do at Lifting & Laughing is make fitness something people enjoy. Challenges like this are a great way to add a bit of friendly competition, keep sessions fun, and give everyone something to aim for along the way.

But at the end of the day, it’s not really about winning - it’s about showing up, getting a bit better each week, and enjoying the process while you’re at it.
