Welcome the This Is Yoga, a dedicated yoga studio in Blessington, Co Wicklow. Our team of experienced instructors run regular classes, workshops and day retreats in a variety of yoga styles to suit everybody and every body.

The Celtic calendar gives us opportunities to pause, think and celebrate the changing of the seasons and the earth beneath our feet. It’s one thing I really love and have embraced since moving to Ireland.
Today I move in honour of new light, new beginnings and the spark of Brigid’s flame as we mark Imbolc and the start of spring.
Followed by dinner cooked for wonderful friends and setting intentions by the fire, I’m hoping this bank holiday is the beginning of a brighter few months ahead. Happy !

Yoga during pregnancy has so many benefits, I didn't have space to list them all! There is one space remaining for you to join Janine Thomas at The Healer's Dance for prenatal yoga.
Classes will include movement to stretch and strengthen, calming breathwork and relaxation techniques as well as labour prep work. This is an opportunity for you to learn more about having the positive birth experience you so deserve.

I am delighted to share the news that prenatal yoga classes are back up and running in Blessington! I am very much looking forward to teaching at The Healers' Dance from Monday January 19 at 6.15pm.

New year, new beginnings... it's the end of an era as This Is Yoga closes after five years in its current location, Unit 5, behind Dunnes. It does seem a very long time ago when my children 'helped' me paint the walls! A huge thank you to everyone in the Blessington area and beyond who has supported me on this journey.
I am looking forward to 2026 and a fresh start in a new space where our yoga community can thrive.

It is with a heavy heart that I have to announce the closure of This Is Yoga at its current location, Unit 5, Blessington Demesne. This situation has arisen due to personal circumstances outside my control and I have no option but to seek an alternative space.

As I shut the doors, I would like to thank all the beautiful people who have shown up to practise with us at This Is Yoga. It is you who made it a studio by bringing your strength, energy and positivity to the classes and space. It has been an absolute joy and honour to teach you all.

Our final class on Wednesday December 17 was held in aid of Women's Aid, a charity close to my heart. The studio was packed out and we raised a fantastic €260 for this extremely worthy cause. Many thanks to all who participated.

I will be back in touch with details of This Is Yoga classes as soon as we find a new home. In the meantime, our online membership is just €5 a month if you would like to keep up your yoga practice.
