Topical Steroids are used to treat many skin conditions. They can be associated with side effects so it is important that they are used correctly and sparyingly.

We advise using a Finger Tip Unit to cover an area equivalent to the palm area of two adult hands.
A Finger Tip Unit is the amount of steroid cream when squeezed from a standard tube that extends from the tip of the finger to the first skin crease on that finger.
This amount should be applied thinly on the affected area.
