Have a little read and then come enjoy a taster evening of pilates and pelvic floor education with Rachael of .ie and myself at Pilates, Pelvic Floor and Prosecco. Link in the bio ❤️

So excited to announce myself and .strongbynature collaboration!

Our goal with this one is to;

1. Have fun!
2. Create an approach to pelvic floor and core training that is holistic
3. Allow you test and enjoy an evening of pelvic floor focussed work through movement and education
4. Impart our wisdom to you in a small, individualised way!!

- consider it a Friday fun evening with your mates- you know the ones you have had the laugh with about your pelvic floor being ‘shot’ as such.
-we will be chatting and exchanging ideas, coming back to basics, colouring our bits on paper, maybe bring out a v***a model or two… you know the usual from a Pelvic Health physio!!

- if you have been meaning to get more info on your pelvic floor- why you might not feel great ‘ down there’ or even just have a laugh getting to know yourself a bit better then this is for you!

- I guarantee you will come away feeling energised, motivated and filled up!

Wouldn’t it be amazing if we all got postnatal pelvic health care rehabilitation as a standard. In France you get between 10 and 20 sessions! It’s using technology mainly and is funded by the government.

The country would certainly benefit longer term by investing in womens health more to make savings ultimately down the line- making women healthier, more active and reduce interventions like costly major surgeries like hysterectomy and prolapse repairs.

I want to get more women educated on how to return to exercise safely and with confidence in themselves after having a baby but also to know when to seek further help if required.

Final call for those that want to join us for my Postnatal Pelvic Floor and Core Onljne workshop this Thursday at 7pm.

But don’t just take our word for it, see what our previous workshop participants have been saying.

Postnatal workshops are back!

And I want you to be a part of it!

I’ve created a warm, honest and open environment in the clinic and I’m now bringing that online to give more women access.

So often part of my prenatal chat with women will be how their recovery plan is featuring in 4th trimester, how to avoid pitfalls or at least reduce them.

I have seen multiple women at their six week check and further along Some are doing well. Others a little shell shocked. I’d like to take this element away for you.

Preparing for the body changes or at least joining an environment where we can acknowledge the changes that are occurring or have occurred in your body through birth.

And I often see frustration and fear setting in as women navigate their new bodies. Nobody told them what it would be like.

I’ve created a workshop that will hopefully give you realistic timelines, expectations so that you know how to set a framework in motion afterwards to returning to exercise but also recovering with grace, self- compassion and patience.

There is no magic formula but I want this to be a welcoming experience where you come away with lots of information that will make you feel reassured.

Investment is 25 euro with a two week playback and also access to online resources which are evergreen.

Comment ‘Recovery’ if you would like us to send you a link to sign up.

Last Chance to book! ✨🙏

I know all too well both personally and professionally how pregnancy and birth can be unpredictable. I myself have 3 children, all delivered in different ways. The first was born by unplanned c-section, the second a delivery with epidural and episiotomy, and the third, 2 days early with no intervention and gas and air.

Every week, I meet women that are overwhelmed with the sheer amount of birth prep information and also lots of focus on their growing baby. However, very little is out there in terms of optimising and preparing your own body during pregnancy and birth.

With this in mind, I have created a unique Prenatal online workshop : Preparing your pelvic floor for pregnancy & birth, so as many of you can access this vital healthcare during pregnancy.

This is your opportunity to work with me, bringing you 10+ years experience in women’s health, supporting a countless number of women through their pre and postnatal journeys, a wealth of information and practical knowledge for your pelvic PRE-habilitation.

Join me this Thursday, last chance to book now, link in bio.

These three deserve a space here this summer. They have amazed me how they are trying to get on together and learning how to master this all the time.

Trying to help everyone be happy all the time can be tricky with an eleven year old, nine year old and six year old.

But last night I went to switch lights out and found Cúán and Luisne in Luisne’s bedroom reading their books together ‘ Book Club’ as Cúán put it.❤️❤️

Today Luisne sat beside Fiadh on the flying chair amusement ride holding her hand and minding her.

Cúán is learning how to console his little sister and hasn’t reacted to her considering she can get fairly feisty at times. He gives me about ten hugs a day and is always there to help me with jobs.

They have shown enthusiasm for most things we’ve done and although at times Fiadh still has big emotions it feels easier than it has been any other summer. ❤️❤️❤️

Pregnancy Pilates restarting over the coming weeks!

This will be my last course before Christmas.

Be quick ladies as only five spots are available for individualised care and attention.

Finished my current course tonight and am feeling slightly emotional saying goodbye to the fab group, most of whom I’ve had for twelve weeks now.

They have all stayed strong and gained fitness and strength their posture as they have progressed which I love seeing.

We have spoken about many different topics as we have gone along so they have gained all the knowledge I can impart as a Womens health physio with them,

If there is one thing I know it’s pelvic floors and this class will help you prepare this area for optimal delivery and best outcomes.

Dm me for details.
