As a couple of women running our own business, just want to say Happy Womens' Christmas today. Don't worry we will be looking out for a man's day during the year (no smart comments please!😝)

So today is Irish Daffodil Day 2021 and we miss seeing the ladies outside selling daffodils for the Irish Cancer society. So we said we would do our bit, we have made a donation to the cause and remember all the people who have been effected by cancer and hope one day there will be a cure. Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Today is World Hearing Day. So it's a day to remember to be patient with our friends and family who have a hearing loss. And be aware of the challenges faced especially these days due to masks and social distancing.

Hi all, we haven't been publishing anything recently as we are just keeping things ticking over and there is nothing new happening.. same as everyone else. We appreciate all the support we have had over this particular lockdown which has seemed harder to get through than the previous ones.

Some great news for us is that we have been recognised as an official Widex practice and also to be official suppliers of the new Widex Moment hearing aids. Although we think Widex are lucky to have us too!!! A great partnership.

If you are new to hearing aids, this is always a question that is asked. I'd agree, normally after 5 years, the technology has moved on and the hearing aid you are wearing is suffering from the constant wearing (we hope!) over the 5 years. Plus the grant is renewed every 4 years so it's a good time to think about upgrading.

Once hearing aids reach the five-year mark, investing in new hearing aids vs. repairing old ones is something to seriously think about.

Thanks to one of our customers Kathleen who had these lovely flowers sent to us. We really got a lovely surprise. 😘

I know this is UK based information but over the last 3 weeks of being back in work I have noticed the huge difference when someone can't see your lips when speaking. Most people think they don't know how to lip read but I reckon we do it subconsciously.

For adults with hearing loss and hearing aids, wearing a face mask is challenging, but this will become the new norm as government advice now states that you must wear a face mask whilst on public transport from Monday.

Here are a few tips to make this combination easier for you ➡️ https://bit.ly/2Y1W7ig

Hi to all of our loyal friends and customers - WE'RE BACK!! We will be reopening on Monday May 18th as part of Phase 1. Of course we have to be vigilant as we are not out of the woods yet. We will be taking appointments and spacing them out over the day so please call before you come in. I may also resemble Darth Vader with all the PPE gear I have on me - I promise it is me under all of it 😷💚 Jacinta and Katherine xx
