I've been informed by Kerry County Council that there will be delays tomorrow morning from 8 AM to about lunch time, from Caol cross to Cillin Liath cross to facilitate tarring the road.

This permit issue is of paramount importance that it gets resolved quickly and efficiently, not only for the South Kerry economy but at a national level, the 'Sceilg Mhichil' is internationally recognised. We now need strong representation at a political level more then ever; this is one matter that cannot go ignored in an area that is continually being ignored. We need a big turn out this Thursday on the famous Portmagee pier to bring/force this to a head and surely some common sense will be brought back to the fore.
