Meet our good friend Johnny Cummins — a true Heat Retreat legend and one of our very first supporters. 🔥❄️

Johnny actually holds the record for the longest time in the cold plunge, but what we love most is the encouragement he gives to everyone around him. If Johnny’s here, you’ll hear kind words, motivation, and plenty of laughs.

Johnny lives with arthritis, and in this video he shares how regular sauna sessions and cold plunges have helped him manage pain, support healing, and feel better in his day-to-day life.

We’re grateful to have him as part of our community. 🔥🤝❄️

We celebrated one year in business and officially opened our newly renovated space! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us — from the kids who took part in the Heat Retreat Future Stars Cup ⚽, to our great friend for leading a Tai Chi class 🧘‍♂️ and cutting the ribbon to open our sauna.

We’re so grateful to for giving us a home on their grounds — without them, we wouldn’t be able to bring the sauna and cold plunge experience to Cahir and the surrounding community.

And finally, to every single person who has stepped through our doors over the past year — your support means the world to us. 💙 Here’s to many more years of heat, cold, and community! 🔥❄️

🔥 **The Heat Retreat Turns One!** 🔥
We’re so excited to announce our **Official Opening & 1st Birthday Celebration** on **Saturday, 27th September** 🎉

It’s been one year since we first opened at **Cahir Park AFC**, and after our recent renovations we’re ready to celebrate properly!

Here’s what’s happening on the day:
⚽ **Giving Back to the Club** – As former Cahir Park players, Aaron & Eddie are proud to sponsor the annual **Heat Retreat Future Stars Cup & Shield** for the Cahir Park Schoolboys & Girls.
🧘 **For Parents** – Our good friend **Paul Kearney** will guide an *Introduction to Tai Chi, Chi Kung & Deep Relaxation* from **11am – 12:30pm** (bring a yoga mat if you’d like).
✂️ **Official Opening** – At **1pm**, we’ll have a very special guest cut the ribbon to mark the official opening.
🔥 **Free Sauna Sessions** – The sauna will be open **11am – 5pm** with **two FREE slots available**. Book now through our schedule before they’re gone!

This day is all about community, wellness, and celebrating how far we’ve come. Thank you for supporting us—we can’t wait to see you there!
